It was better than I thought, it was very easy to read and just the right size for my desk.

Workhorse of calculators, this is our second and first one is still going strong! Just needed another one for another desk. Anyone that does a lot of adding, bookkeeping, invoicing.. will appreciate this calculator. Don't forget to get paper for it!

This is the only one I ever owned. Had a brief power outage, when it came on my old one received the electrical shock.Tax time was not a good time for that to happen. Very great full to have found this one.Sad it does not have the electric cord attached. This one has the same as a phone charger.

I am a CPA and use a professional Sharp calculator at work. Bought this one as a cheaper alternative for home office, liked the black color. I use my calculator a lot!! And I am very fast. The keys on this cheaper version are a little sticky and the tape is enough slower that it bugs me a little. This will be fine for occasional use. But buy the better model if you plan to use this one regularly. Also, the number viewing screen is a strange green when lit up. But not that big of a deal...

The sharp Calculator EL2196BL has to be one of the best calculators. I have seen Back on the market in a long time, I have used almost every brand and they do not compare to this new sharp calculator it is well made a little bitlarger sits on a desk beautiful beautiful. It is quiet functional beautiful well. I commended what I liked most of all about it. All the control buttons are just a little bigger and easier to maintain and work. The number of buttons are a little bit bigger easier to read. Easier to work with this is a well. Big improvement reminds me other original larger calculators that they made 20 years ago. But this one is an excellent buy for the money, and I will well recommend it to anyone.

I am an accountant and had an older version of this calculator for over a decade. This summer I spilled a full cup of water directly into it and it no longer worked. So relieved they still made it. I almost ordered 2 but hopefully I will be retired before I need another one! Just as good as the old one which is not always the case anymore. This one is a little more quiet.
