Industrial Ethernet: How to Plan, Install, and Maintain Tcp/Ip Ethernet Networks: the Basic Reference Guide for Automation and Process Control Engineers

The price is a bit steep for what you get.
Not a very in depth book for $90. It’s more like a history of Ethernet than anything. I had high hopes for this book. It doesn’t give much insight or give the reader anything that they couldn’t find with just a few web searches. It’s also not a very big book. It’s just a little over 200 pages with average font size. With all of that said, it does have some good things about it. It would probably help a reader to understand some of the basic principles regarding Ethernet and really any form of digital transmission. It does present some good comparisons.
