The Real Simple Method to Organize Every Room: And How to Keep It That Way Kindle Edition

I started sometime ago, then my niece got the decluttering bug, and wanted me to declutter some things too.So I stared reading up on the subject of organizing and etc etc.In most of the books I have read there is one closet and or area no one mentions...that’s the utilities closet.Is it supposed to organize itself, or what? You have a bunch of experts, and not one of them tackled that area?I know, each person cleans their house with the products they like. So why not suggest how to organize that?Or is it just not popular right now?Thank you.

read it and used a few ideas. they work. no book is a one size fits all but there is alot to learn in this one.

IT was a very good book, if you into organization. Also had some helpful ideas that I am already using.

This is a good book that has a basic optimism toward clutter and a systematic approach to getting rid of it, room by room, then keeping it that way. Some of the basic ideas is that you're not cleaning, you're organizing in a way that will help you stay organized.Right at the beginning they tackle the difficult task of deciding what to keep and what to get rid of. This goes step by step and includes questions to help you decide. There are some practice situations, to get the way of thinking/rethinking clutter.There are helpful checklists for getting things back in order in a short time. Then they go room by room to look at particular challenges that are common for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, etc. Again, there are pictures of a situation to illustrate what your own bookcase...closet....handbag... etc. might ideally be able to be pared down to look like--and how to get them there. There's even a section for improving the outdoor area, including gardening tools, and for pet areas and decluttering the car. Throughout, there are reminders and tips and habits to help keep things that way. A very useful book if you have any issues at all with clutter.

A pretty book, just a collection of some articals. Lots of pictures and blank space not much more thank a coffee table book

Nice pictures but the written words didn’t seem to jive with the picsMaybe an editing problemI would recommend this book though as I did find a few good tips
