Excellent eco friendly filters.
I have a 3x 207, 1x407 1x406 and fx6 across different tanks. The 207 is a great little eco work horse. Very efficient and cleaning. Relatively quiet. Good fit. I don't know why but eveytime I install I end up having an initial leak but after that touch wood they've been pretty solid. Maintenance is easy. Good value for money especially if you get it on sale. Much better than in tank filter.

Easy to install
First Class filter, easy to install. Been working for three days and the difference in the tanks was clarity is unbelievable. The only slight niggle is piping could do with being a bit longer, I have a Aqua one tank and pipe only just reaches, so check your measurements. Very silent running and very easy to prime. Would recommend this filter 👌

Very easy to use, little noisey
My previous external filter broke (different well known brand) and bought this as has good reviews. The good: easy to set up, really good pump action to refill chamber after cleaning, good media included. The bad: The outlet on this is above water level so quite nosey (sound of water, constantly feel like I need a wee), supplied hoses are just long enough, I had 3 inches spare. Overall: works really well, tank looks great, feels a good quality item, price seems fair.

Great filter *with top tips* recommend over All Pond Solutions
This is a great filter. I thought I would give it a go after having 2 awfully loud All Pond Solutions 1000EF+ filters The filter is easy to install and includes all the filter media to get you started. I would however recommend upgrading from the supplied cheaper looking ceramic rings to Fluvals Biomax ceramic rings or even better, Seachem matrix as that can also support nitrate eating bacteria unlike ceramic media which cannot. The only bad point to this filter is that the intake and output fittings that attach to the top of your tank are kinda cheap and flimsy, with only suction cups to hold them in place which is a hastle to get them on straight and to not get pulled to one side by the tension from the hosing; they also have one suction cup on the front and one on the back to grip the glass on both sides but if you have a background the rear cup will not stick to it! The solution to this is that the hoses and fittings from the All Pond Solutions filter I mentioned earlier fits the 107 and 207 perfectly and are sold on their website. Make sure to get their hose too as the Fluval hose won't fit the APS fittings! The All Pond Solutions intake and output are much sturdier and clamp on to the glass for a much better hold and also include a spray bar which is sold separately with the Fluval. Another good point about this filter is it is very easy to prime it. It takes only a few pumps of the priming handle even when the canister is empty, you don't even have to fill it with water first which you do with the APS one or you'd be pumping it all day, just make sure the output nozzle is above the waterline if you're priming it from empty. This can be done by draining a bit of water out of your tank or during a water change. After you've got it started a top tip is to tilt or rock it side to side gently and this will remove most of the trapped air bubbles quicker but it may still take a few hours or so for it all to leave the system and for it to reach the lowest noise level. It is pretty quiet for a canister filter. Once all air has been purged out I'd say the noise level is comparable to the fan of a PC or games console. If you also run an air pump on your tank you will definitely not hear this filter over that. Just make sure if you do that this doesn't suck up any of the bubbles as this will make it louder again! This is the perfect sized filter for my 160 litre tank; I'd recommend it for tanks 1m wide. The box says up to 220 litres but those size tanks are sometimes 1.2m which this may be a little on the small side for though; it may struggle to push the water that far, so I'd recommend the Fluval 307 or even the 407 if you can afford it for 200 litres and larger. Cleaning is very convenient as all 3 trays can be pulled out and put back at once with the handle which I thought was a nice touch. Also you cannot put it together wrong as everything lines up one way unlike the APS 1000EF+ which you can line the trays up wrong, then have to take apart again. Pros: Quiet for an external filter Not too expensive for a good brand Canister feels well made Filter media included Easy to prime Cons: Tubing/fittings cheap feeling (but easily upgradable) Not as quiet as an internal filter Overall I am happy with my purchase 😊 and I've included some photos of it with the other manufacturers hosing and fittings attached so you can see what I'm talking about. If you are thinking of getting an All Pond Solutions filter I would definitely recommend paying a bit extra and getting this instead. The 207 is usually £101.99 everywhere online I've seen it which is a bit more than the cheap brands but still cheaper than other premium brands like Eheim.

I am so happy - Perfect for a beginner
I was looking for my first external filter and honestly did not know where to start. I mostly looked at reviews for many different brands and a lot of them put me off by mentioning leaks, siphoning, and noise. It seemed that every filter i had looked at had some sort of issue and i was at my wits end. I eventually decided to go for this one, i have a 216Litre tank and i purchased the 207. Oh my god, i don't think i could have picked a more beginner friendly filter! I was totally dreading the set up of this but i looked up a youtube video to help me, there is literally nothing to it. Remove all packaging, attach your pipe brackets to your tank, cut your pipe into two, attach to the filter (NOT TOO TIGHT or you can break the screws) use the prime lever to fill the filter up with water and you're done. The filter is honestly so silent I forgot it was even on. I have a tiny 30L tank in the same room and that thing is louder than my 216 Litre tank with the external filter. If you can hear your fluval filter you probably have some air trapped in there. You can change the media within the filter trays if you have a preference and know what you are doing, but for me, this filter has been doing its job with the media it comes with. People recommend the fluval biomax (for the middle tray) and JBL filter floss (top tray) I couldn't be happier and as a total newbie to external aquarium filters, this is the one I can confidently recommend. I've seen a few reviews mention the parts break easily, i have not found this to be the case. Id say use common sense and don't force the plastic. *I would also recommend paying attention to the max flow rate on the different models, for a 216Litre tank the 207 flow rate is on the lower end (this works for me and my betta as he doesn’t like to be blown around and I do weekly small water changes and gravel cleans) but you may need the next model up if you seek very strong filtration. The flow rate is adjustable on these.

We are very happy with the filter. No linkages and is very silent. I recommend cuting the hose on the place measuring accurately, not in the middle directly. Delivery was quick and on time. All good. ☺️

I got the 207 canister filter from Fluval and I am very happy with it. It was very easy to setup and had all the filter media in the canister.... It is a little expensive compared to the others available but it's worth it

Nice, compact and silent little filter. Good filtration for a 20 gallon aquarium. Easy to install and more importantly easy to remove and clean. Maintenance is easy and quick. Filtration media and parts east to find online and replace at a reasonable cost.
