It doesn't work better or worse than using fabric softener. Still has static after and I use both at the same time. Don't recommend over anything else but eco friendly and reusable is why I'm keeping.

I just want to eliminate static so I am happy. They work for me. No static cling.FIRST - I washed them- Wash warm water w/ 7th gen liquid, used steam setting and used 2nd rinse option and then threw them in the dryer w/ my clothes. I have not washed again and they still work.I hate scented stuff and use to use a 1/3 of an eco/ biodegradable natural dryer sheet w/ natural waxes so my clothes got very little "residue" on them. I prefer not having any softener/ "residues" on my clothes especially my towels b/c zero residue makes them more absorbent. These are great for baby diapers & clothes too b/c I know there is zero stuff on my baby's skin from washing and drying the baby clothes. Baby diapers can absorb more effectively w/o residue. Thinking to buy for others w/ babies.

I love these! My family is very sensitive to the chemicals in dryer sheets and these are a great alternative. To be completely honest, they do not remove 100% of the static all of the time. They work much better when you have mixed fabric types in the dryer with them. You also need to follow the instructions and wash them once a month or so. That being said, bottom line, if you're looking to get rid of the chemicals and do some good for the environment at the same time, these are the way to do it. I will never go back to dryer sheets.

It's has been two years since I purchased dryer sheets. Yes, two years, thanks to Static Eliminator! This is the best performing environmentally friendly dryer sheet I've ever used. And, compared to Mrs. Meyers and Seventh Generation the best priced also. For only 3 cents a load, I have soft and static free clothes without relying on toxins or petroleum. I just have to remember to throw them in the wash once every three months.This product works so well, after two years of use, I knew it was time to buy a new pair. My clothes started feeling a little stiffer and as it is winter time, started experiencing static.The only question is how do I keep the old pair of Static Eliminators out of the landfills? Anyone interested in a black and white striped scarf?

This product really works! I was unsure about trying them after reading so many mixed reviews, but I have now used them for dozens of loads and they have not failed me yet. I use them for baby clothes, diapers, and blankets, and every load comes out static-free. We live in the northeast where it is currently winter (and low humidity) but this does not seem to make them less effective. Note: I do not use them for large loads of adult items like towels and sheets, so I can't speak to their effectiveness there. They do work for adult clothes such as shirts and jeans though. (Make sure to put both cloths into each dryer load like the directions say.) I would definitely recommend buying these. I am about to buy a second set!

I saw this product in Real Simple magazine and was skeptical, but hate the waste of dryer sheets, so thought I'd give it a try. I bought 2 boxes just in case I like them and wish I would have bought a lifetime supply! These work just like they say they will --- no static, clothes smell fresh and clean....and you can use them over and over again. One thing they don't make clear in the description is that the box does come with 2 "sheets" but you do need both sheets in every load. So, where I thought I was buying potentially a years worth (each sheet is supposed to last 3 months), I actually bought 6 months. That's ok though, I'll definitely purchase more when these are used out.

Purchased for family member with skin sensitivity. They seem to help somewhat. Had to readjust way I was drying leggings. Three females produce large quantities of leggings. Have started adding cotton clothing in the dryer to reduce static as well. Read that somewhere. With the reusable dryer sheets and added cotton fabric the static is less. Whenever possible I try not to put leggings in dryer, I hang them. The dryer sheets do add to softness of dryer loads as well.

I bought this because I have 2 young kids with mild eczema and wanted something that didn't use chemicals. I also wanted something that didn't leave a residue in my dryer (since I use cloth diapers as well and need a clean dryer) but would still get rid of static. I don't know if it's really helping or not. I still detect a little static when I remove the clothes from the dryer, but nothing major. The directions instruct you to rub the clothes with the eliminator cloths if you detect static. Too much work for me. I just live with it. Overall, I think this product helps with static, but I don't know about eliminate. However, I love the fact that it is reusable and doesn't use any chemicals.
