It works! Maybe get a larger one than you think.
Sturdy, ease to use and because it's bright orange I can find it in a closet. This is for a central vac hose that has been a beast to manage. Much easier now. Glad I got the larger size.

These are fantastic
They come in different sizes. I have them to hold 100' of rugged garden hose and smaller ones for other jobs in the workshop. Extremely well made and should hold up for a long time!

Velcro is good and strong. Handle is comfortable.
You can just tell when some things, even simple things, are made well. This is one of them. I bought the 22" version to tie up/hang my 6-gauge/50-amp, 36 foot long generator hookup cord. I have the cord wrapped into roughly a 15" in diameter coil and this Wrap-It fits perfectly. Plenty of overlap b/t the hook and loop sides of the Velcro to ensure a solid hold. The cord weighs 25 pounds, so not a light load by any means.The handle is comfortable to carry with. Not that from the garage to the backyard is far, but every detail counts.I have the assembly hanging on the garage wall. I can see this strap lasting a long time, especially if it's not stored in the sun/weather or opened/closed on a regular basis. Velcro does wear out eventually, but the Velcro used in this strap is the industrial stuff. Highly recommended.
