This is a genuine FTDI chip and works perfectly for my Baofeng and Radioddity radios. I'm always shocked at how many radio manufacturers ship the cloned version of this that has not been windows compatible for more than 10 years. You can't go wrong with this one. I'm going to order another as a backup.

Seems well made. Device Manager showed the cord on comm port 7. I then used CHIRP and was able to program the UV-28PlusGPS using the UV-17proGPS radio as the UV-28 isn't listed in CHIRP I'm very happy with this cord as it simplified programming and works, which is where "other" cords when on Windows 11 fail to function.

Works better than original that came with the radios. Bought a two radio Baofeng package. Came with two of everything. One of the original programming cables didn’t work from the get go. The second one stopped working about a year after I bought it. The Btech works great! (So far)🤞

I needed a programming cable for a Baofeng UV5R Mini because I couldn't locate my cable for my UV82. Cable arrived on-time and worked with both radios. And best of all, it uses the FTDI chip set. This was a better and faster solution than the bluetooth solutions for the Mini.

Works. Programmed DM32UV with it on Win 11 laptop. C340 cable that I purchased failed.

Worked as you woukd expect and as Btech said it would. Rather ironic as the 'original' one ordered from banggood was frustating waste of time and effort. Changed drivers, confirmed chip, pfaffed about for way too long. Wish I had saved time and just ordered this one earlier.

Good cable, work well programming to my Baofeng BF-F8HP.

Easily connected to CHIRP and worked well to upload channels, edit and download channels on to a UV-5R.
