iSpring ADS1K Drain Saddle Valve Clamp with 1/4" Quick Connect Fitting for Under Sink Reverse Osmosis RO System Waste Water Line, Black

This saddle valve was a great replacement. We had to redo our plumbing because we purchased a new sink. The quality so far shows no leaks, and was very straight forward. The only thing I think may pose an issue for a DIYer would be the size hole needed to be drilled for their RO system. Even though it’s a 1/4” OD line someone may not know what to do. This fit around my 1 1/2” pvc pipes. CON - I have only seen a rubber type material used for this and it came with a “foam” type material to use as a seal. I would hope it doesn’t matter too much on that type of seal. I will provide an update if it shows any type of leaks.

This fit my drain pump well. I have it installed on my 6 stage reverse osmosis system that gets used daily for 3 months and I have had zero issue. The seal is made with two foam pads attached with an adhesive side. I could see it needing to be replaced in the distant future. I would be more comfortable seeing a soft rubber pads instead but it works.

This was exactly what was needed to replace the failed saddle valve in our RO water system. Was simple to install and seems more durable than the original. Just don’t overtighten or you may cause it to break!

The original drain saddle got broke when we were changing out filters the first time. This one was the right replacement for my i-Spring Reverse Osmosis filtering setup.
