Great product, but could have issues for epileptics?!
This is a great product, and at a decent price. HOWEVER, I feel there is a potential serious issue if you are epile[tic. The "issue", is when you pair the bulb to your wifi. The method it uses is to turn the light switch on and off a few times. This starts the bulb flashing until it connects to your WIFI. I'm concerned that all the time you are trying to log in to the WIFI, the bulb is flashing at a fairly rapid rate. I can imagine the potential to trigger fits through the "rapid" flashing light might be of concern. I'm NOT epileptic, and I don't know precisely how fast a light has to flash to trigger a fit, but I would have thought reducing the duration of the flashing would be beneficial. Once the bulb is linked to your WIFI, that issue goes away.Other than that caveat, the only other "issue" is that the white is warm white not cool white. Personally I prefer cool white, as it is for me brighter - but that's purely personal, and many prefer the "warmer" white (with a slightly yellow tinge). It states it can be used via google home, though as I write this I cannot confirm / deny. All in all, at the price, I can't recommend more.

Love these
My first smart bulbs, didn’t think I needed/ wanted them but kids wanted to try. I actually love these! I like being able to adjust the brightness and even the colour if I want. I’ve just ordered 3more packs to do the whole house, will be great to set them to turn on in the mornings to annoy my kids lol. A little bit annoying to install the first one but second was easier when I read the instructions and understood better

Quick, simple and good value
The app was simple to setup and link with Alexa, had both my bulbs up and running in minutes and I'm suitably impressed with the many preset colours, will be buying more when I need new bulbs.

Perseverance is needed when you have 2 internet connection speeds
Took a while to connect, as we have 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz internet connection. But once set up, is great to use

Rubbish!!
Brought in June stopped working end of July, one of the blubs just keeps flashing and is unresponsive, the other just will not go on. Totally waste of money and I have no option in sending back or getting a replacement. Do not waste your money

Great bulb, super value. Would highly recommend.
Very easy to install, lights my whole room up nicely. Only takes about 2 seconds to connect after having no power (eg turned off at switch) before it can be used with Alexa or other smart home system. Unfortunately the pre programmed scenes in the smart life app, such as rainbow, cannot be used with Alexa (To the best of my knowledge, apologies if I am incorrect) and only a list of about 10-15 basic colours can be used. I would definitely recommend this bulb for anyone who is looking for a very cheap but still very decent bulb.
