This magnet is strong and well made. It's fun to use to search for objects in the water.

This magnet is super strong as advertised. The finish is very smooth and seems to last. The eyelet to connect a rope to the magnet is big enough to easily get a rope through. Very happy!

I learned a lot! 🧲 Magnetic attraction has a LOT to do with the total surface area of the magnet 🧲 rather than magnetic strength per unit volume.I have a couple of REALLY strong neodymium magnets. They are much stronger per unit area. That said, the total pull of this magnet is significant. I could not remove it from the side of my refrigerator without sliding it to the top and even then, I turned over a fingernail. That said, by magnetic strength by unit volume I would not recommend it as the magnet suitable for scientific research where maximum magnetism per unit area is required.This magnet is probably sufficient for magnet fishing.

I use this to pick up nails in the shop (tied an old rope on it and swing it around). Pretty good! Can even hold a hammer on it for a little bit
