First 100 Animals Lift-the-Flap: Over 50 Fun Flaps to Lift and Learn Board book – Lift the flap, September 2, 2014

Love this book! It is full of real life pictures of animals, not drawings. It separates into categories like home, safari, arctic, etc. Also includes colors, counting to 5, differences, and patterns. It was bigger than I expected but doesn’t bother me. The only thing I don’t like is that there is writing on the flaps so we wont see the word if my kid rips it off.

The media could not be loaded. my daughter is obsessed with this book! she loves animals and flap books so I knew this book would be a hit but i love that it has an educational piece added to it like the sounds that the animals makes or where they live. such a good buy!

Love how this is a large book with many flaps to open on one page. It’s also great that there are real photos of animals and a huge variety of pictures.

Gave it to my 2yr old after i opened it and he loved it. He loves animals and books so he just sat there and called out the animals loudly followed by big wows. If your toddler likes books they will definately enjoy this one.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my two-year-old for Christmas and she loves it. The book is very sturdy, so it will definitely keep up with the wear and tear of my toddler. I also love that there are flaps on almost every page so it definitely keeps her attention the entire time.

My 2.5 year old loves this book and can flip through it non stop. Just note that the flaps are reallyyy thin and flimsy. Very easy to rip. Not recommended if your child is only 1 or is still learning to be gentle with books.

My 15 m.o. son has had the smaller board book version of First 100 Words, First 100 Animals, and First Numbers & Shapes for months now. He loves board books and he really seems to enjoy those books in particular so when I saw the Lift-the-Flap version I knew I had to buy it. Whenever I ask him to bring me a book to read to him, he chooses these books pretty frequently. He also spends a fair amount of time going through them while pointing at each picture and speaking his toddler language to himself. The lift flaps on this book adds another aspect to keep his interest in the book a little longer. These books have held up fairly well to the abuse my toddler has put them through, the pages have been chewed on, pulled on, bent, books have been thrown, yet none are falling apart. I was a little worried about him tearing the flaps (as he's done with other books) but so far they seem to be holding up. I will continue to purchase these.
