Eufy 11S remote vacuum Not the pictured alarm system
I really enjoy heading out for the day and pressing the "go" button on top of the unit. While I'm gone my entire home gets a thorough vacuuming. The place is spotless when I return and the Eufy is parked in its base, charging for the next time. Now comes the fun part, cleaning the unit. That's a little work because during its one hour cruise around your home it picks up all sorts of fuzz, thread, tiny stones, crumbs etc. A small hand tool that's included will be necessary to clean the removable rotary brush assembly, the only work you'll have to do. Once the cleaning is complete return the Eufy to its base and forget it until next time. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago.

Great Alarm System Package
This is a great bargain for an excellent wireless security system. Exact same thing (S02) as Fortress system for substantially less. Picture doesn't show it, but mine came with wireless panic alarm button as well (not knowing it was included, had ordered a separate one from Fortress ... now have 2 panic alarm buttons). Was initially concerned about wireless reliability as our house is large (2850 SF) single-level with brick and rock interior walls. Picked a near-central location for alarm panel and the wireless signal penetrates flawlessly. Haven't had a single false alarm since install (over a month) despite lightning storms, microwave ovens, multiple routers, wireless printers, wireless WiFi extenders, 11 cordless phones and numerous other RF emitting devices. Entire install took less than an hour (and I reprogrammed all zones to custom configuration).Tips:1. Alarm box supports up to 32 different zones (which must be numbered 1-32 ... not 10,20,30, etc. as I initially tried)2. A zone is a group of alarm sensors that you select (for example, all first floor street-facing windows might be Zone 9, and all side windows Zone 10, and all rear windows Zone 11).3. (if you elect to reprogram the box for custom zones) Only alarms in zones 1-8 can be assigned entry/exit delays. Zones 9-32 are instant and will trigger the instant door/window is opened.4. There is a big difference in how long the buttons must be held down when arming and disarming the alarm via central PANEL (it doesn't matter with key fob) . When arming via panel, you must hold the "Out" or "Home" button down until panel beeps (maybe 2 sec). When disarming system via panel, after entering password press and quickly release the "Disarm" button. If you keep holding down "Disarm" button expecting a beep, it won't disarm system and you'll think your panel is broken.5. Only 1 out of 10 window/door sensors required a spacer (not included) to compensate for difference between door and surrounding (very thick) molding. Just cut a thin piece of wood for spacer, glued it to door, and taped sensor to spacer to get desired proper alignment.6. Sensor can be installed with antenna facing up, down, or sideways. Antenna orientation probably makes some theoretical difference (1-5%) in signal strength, but if you're that marginal on signal then you should get a range extender.7. The GSM alarm system version (that dials out to up to 8 people on your alarm notification list over CELLULAR network) REQUIRES a separate SIM card (which probably adds $20/mo or more to your wireless bill).8. The S02 (standard) system dials out over your standard house telephone line so there's no additional charge.9. We have VOIP (Internet phone service) and alarm works with it just fine (for dialing out to up to 8 people on your alarm notification list). Just ran a telephone line from VOIP router to nearest house telephone jack. Google "how to connect voip to home phone wiring" for the details.10. Ordered extra 10-battery pack of 23A 12-volt batteries from Amazon Prime for under $8. Expected battery life is around a year.11. We especially like the triple beep (which can be disabled) that lets us know any time a door is opened. Very handy with small children to keep aware of their coming and going.Very pleased with this alarm system (especially compared to the basic 3 sensor (door/window) systems that national brands are hawking for $40/mo on 2 year contract.

A Great do-it-yourself system ...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Delivery was fast and in good condition. I like how this is a do-it-yourself set up without having to hire a professional, I only have to worry about how long the batteries will last in the sensors and time will tell on that part. The following are things I think you may find helpful as they are not totally clear after you have read the quick start page and the manual which you need to download from their website:1. The command functions on page 1 of the manual is very helpful.2. Using the remote controller or arming/disarming the system made a very loud unbearable chirping sound from the interior mini siren. To turn that off use the "Remote controller arm/disarm tone" command.3. The Forget-To-Arm System warning is where the control panel will chirp 3 times when a door is open when the alarm is off. The manual says you can do this only for one door, but I was able to do it for 2 doors and that was it. This is helpful if you have two entry points to your house as it is nice to know when someone has opened those doors.4. All of the sensors came pre-programmed with the control panel so no need to do that part. However, they only had the window /door sensors labeled from zone 8 to 17. The zone 8 sensor is for the front door where you can set the alarm to go off in the delay mode. You can only use the delay mode in zones 1-8. We also enter from the garage at times, so I changed the zone 17 sensor to zone 7 following the instructions in the manual and it worked.5. You'll have to follow the instructions in the manual to set up the outside siren which is pretty easy.6. I sat some of the key components close to me when setting up the control panel and testing the system and then mounted the sensors. Better than going back and forth for some of the stuff after you set it up.The sirens are pretty darn loud and I really like where the system will call your designated tele number when the alarm goes off. The remote controls are useful for my mom when she visits when we're away and to keep one upstairs and downstairs (hidden) if we do not want to use the control panel.Cons: I do not like where the AC power plug is on top of the control panel and the others connections on the side. Would have been better to have them tucked away in the back of the panel so they are not exposed when mounted to the wall. Found out later the P03 has the wires behind the control panel...I have the motion detector only set up in my garage if someone happens to open the garage door. Otherwise, this appears to be a great system and easy to use. Let's also hope the 3M stickers they gave to hold the sensors against the doors/moldings works for a long time. I used screws to mount the magnet casings as they did not fit flush on the door moldings. I took my time in getting things set up and happy with the set up.I'll update if needed. Now on to my review of the CCTV cameras that I also got through Amazon at a very reasonable price like this system.Yeah baby!Update 12/24/14 - Everything is working really well and no false alarms so far. I put some metal corner moldings I found in the garage from other older projects around the control panel to hide the connections. See the attached video. This way the connections cannot be seen as easily and the top molding actually provides extra support to hold the panel in place.Update 5/9/15 - just replaced battery on front door as the 3 chimes was not going off when opening door and noticed the 2nd light for low battery was appearing on sensor when triggered. The battery life lasted about 6 months for the sensor that got the most use. The batteries on the other sensors still going as would be expected. Otherwise, system still working good with no issues.
