Best purchase I’ve ever made. For two years I’ve been raking up goose poop and shoeing them off the lawn. They would slowly walk across the street to my neighbors only to return minutes later. I tried everything . I was skeptical but it’s now been over a month & the geese fly on by & never land. Not only am I geese free but so are my neighbors. Truly happy with this purchase as are my neighbors!

I live on a lake and a couple of families of Canada geese decided to set up home in our cove. Love geese but they were pooping all over the dock, boathouse and grass. They were creating a huge, slippery mess. Read that geese and coyotes don't mix so after searching online, made this purchase on Amazon. My wife named him Charlie after the University of South Dakota mascot.I like that this decoy is 3 dimensional unlike others I saw online. It is very easy to assemble (you attach the legs) and his tail moves a bit in a breeze. He is lightweight so I used a few stakes and short rope tied around his paws to keep him in place. I told my neighbors about him before putting him in place so they wouldn't shoot him. Yes, he is that lifelike.Charlie has been on the job now for a month and the geese do not come onto my property. The geese have been feeding on my neighbor's property but one goose always stays on guard staring directly at Charlie.UPDATE 5/29/25 - Although we move our coyote decoys around the property regularly, the geese are no longer afraid of them. Had 20 geese feeding in my back yard today. Found that chasing them off the property with my Kawasaki Mule much more effective.

Looks good, I bit clunky to take to set, makes a little noise putting together. They way legs attach seem like it won't last or will loose pieces. Only used 1 time so far. No yotes but a fox came in. He held up, so I don't know if decoy scared him, but it didn't matter.

Im using the Coyote Decoy to keep the Racoons away when I feed all my Cats outdoors..Im using it along with the ultrasonic barking dog/shooting device..The cats are getting used to it..But Wow!, the Racoons are taking off when they see it..Its doing a Great Job!

We have a second home that is on a lake with tons of geese. We recently got this thing and it is SO REALISTIC!!!!! When you look out the window, it's crazy how real it looks. My hubby and I were cracking up sitting on our deck the first night after we put it out listening to all the geese talking in the water trying to figure out what this thing was. They stayed in the water and did not come up to the property so it works!!!! We will probably get a second one. That's how good these are!!! If I was at my property, I would do a video.

This was an item I purchased that was previously returned. It's not painted as shown in the image and that might been part of the reason why. Not a problem for me I plan to paint it for fun. This will not be left out year-round it would not be able to survive in northern Illinois winter. I like its size and the position it stands in. The back legs can be taken off to make it look like it's sitting and howling. It came late but I think it's the second time in 5 years that something has arrived late from Amazon so it wasn't a big deal. I'm probably going to hot glue the ears to the head. They twist but they don't seem like they're going to come off but if I can avoid losing one then I will.
