Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Travel Set - palette 2 (2305544)

These colors are SO strong, I had to look up to see if it was actually a stain like ink. I thought "okay with the name inktense, maybe these aren't actually pigment watercolors." Their website however, does say they are pigment-based so there you have it. But seriously VIBRANT and strong. It's amazing the mixing I can do with these. Also, very surprised that the plastic mixing area doesn't make the paint separate like a lot of plastic and all metal containers. Didn't need to use a glue stick or other method of prepping the palette, it just mixes beautifully. I feel like these will be my go-to for quite some time, just very very in love.

Beautiful fantastic product! FYI It did arrive with a little powder discoloration on my plastic pallet from the pans, didn’t like that.

I already have palette #1 and I am glad to have found #2. The colors are rich and vibrant. They swatch well on watercolor paper. I will try them soon mixed with fabric medium to see if they work as well as the pencils and the blocks.

I waited like forever to receive these. Just kidding they were delivered in the allotted time but not in the Prime couple of days. (So spoiled by Amazon). They came from Sweden I really felt special with a box from Sweden. Perfect shipping and nothing damaged. Thank you!Now onto the paint, I was very impressed with the colors out of the pan but as they dry they do loose the bright vivid color just like watercolors. They don't seem to mix as well as watercolors. The white has chunks in it when mixed with water. No matter what I did, the chunks remained. The white did seem to cover the other colors when making little dots. I believe they would be great for underpainting with watercolors. They do seem to stay on the page and don't wash off when dry. Also painting with these over a watercolor mess up worked wll. (I try to mix watercolors on the paper not always a success). I'm no artist, just use them as mixed media and in adult colorbooks so far. I will give updates if I see a major difference. Have had them only one day. As of right now, if your craft budget is tight, I'd say buy that other thing you are deciding before these. They are not a pass by, but so far not super impressed. I will try fabric painting and keep working with them. My opinion may change?

Es gibt zwei Inktense Paletten von Derwent. Hier handelt es sich um die Nr. 2. Wie der Name schon sagt („Ink“), handelt es sich hier um Farben die aus Tinte hergestellt sind. Das bedeutet, dass die Farben im trockenen Zustand deutlich intensiver und leuchtender sind als herkömmliche Aquarellfarben. Die Farbauswahl in dieser Palette ist sehr schön und eignet sich super für florales Zeichnen.Der Verkäufer ist absolut zu empfehlen. Der Versand hat etwas gedauert aber das lag wohl eher an der schwierigen Zeit mit der wir es gerade zu tun haben.Von mir volle Punktzahl für Produkt und Verkäufer ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my second Purchase of the Inktense Travel set, my first being the 1st pallette box. When I found they did another pallette 2 box, I knew it would be a nice set to own. Like the first set, the colours are very well thought out, and the box is small enougth to slip into your pocket for painting out and about. I particularly like the pallette 2 box for painting flowers, as I find the colour range just perfect. They also work well on fabric, which you can fix with an iron after painting.Initially, they might seem a bit pricey, but Derwent is good Quality, the colours are vibrant, mix well, and the set is very versatile, I would'nt like to be without them as they are used a lot. Highly Recommended.

I love these paints. The brightness of the colors make me happy. I like to see how many new colors I can make from them. Lovely.

I bought this set to extend the colours of set one, which I already own. These are dyes, giving, as the name suggests, an intense depth of colour and permanence, but which can also be diluted to give a wash, suitable for any design or art work. I already own the complete set of Intense sticks so am familiar with the concept of dyes; these sets are more convenient when travelling, but with the same great qualities. They ‘re so versatile - I could write a tutorial on how to use them! But, briefly, they can be used on paper, card, fabric, and probably many other, as yet undiscovered grounds. They can be brushed, sprayed, printed with/over and can be blended successfully to create new shades. Highly recommended for any artist or designer.
