DUCO Blue Light Blocking Glasses Gamer Glasses And Computer Gaming Glasses

I liked my old Duco glasses from a few years back but once those were too scratched I had to get a new pair but couldn't find the same model. This model works but the nose bridge is too small and hurts the bridge of my nose.

I really wanted to love these. I read lots of reviews and when I purchased them, I felt confident that they were the right ones for me... I was wrong. They solved some of my problems but created others.Cons: I realized that a huge part of my problem is not just the blue light from the screen but the glare of the overhead lights in my work area. Any light I see around the edges of the frames on the opposite side of the lens still hurts my eyes. I need more of wrap around frame that contours to the shape of my face. That being said, that is more of a "me thing" that I do not fault the glasses for. What I dislike about the glasses is that the anti-glare only works one way. Any light that is behind me and is not blocked by the back of my head gets reflected off the back side of the lens and directly back into my eye. This happens along the far outer edge of the lens. In my work area, I get a headache faster with them on without even looking at a screen than I do with them on. To receive any benefit from wearing the glasses, I have to wear a modified ball cap to block light from coming over the top of the glasses. I also sewed some fabric from the sides of the ball cap all the way to the front of the brim that hangs down the side of my face to block any light that might shine in from any other direction. The modified hat also prevents any light from being reflected back into my eye from the back side of the lens. My 9 year old affectionately calls me Goofy when she sees me wearing the hat because the sides look like long ears to her.Pros: With my modified hat, the lenses work great and reduce my eyestrain. I actually feel like I can work without having to continually avoid looking at my computer screen to rest my eyes. I am only keeping them because the thought of going with nothing while trying to find something else is more terrifying than keeping them. At least I know that with some modifications, these work for me. The glasses and everything that came with them all seem well made and built to last. I like that others can still see my eyes with the glasses on so I do not feel like I have to take them off when talking to others.They are also stylish. I have been told that they look great on me (note: this was when I was not wearing my hat). That being said, I also consider the style a con. They could be the most stylish glasses in the world and it would not matter if you have to wear a Goofy hat to get any benefit from wearing them.

I've used these glasses for the better part of two years. I'm writing a review of them now because I'm getting ready to replace them. First, these glasses are a great value, they do what they say and come with two cases; one soft, and one hard. They don't look much different from regular glasses apart from the yellow tint, and I've gotten many compliments on them when I got them. Now here is the downside, the lenses are plastic. This wasn't an issue until I realized that the cleaning cloth isn't antistatic. Theses glasses will get smudges or fingerprints on them pretty easily and every time I give them a wipe, they absorb every speck of dust that comes in contact with them. As a result, the lenses are almost always dusty. There is also a noticeable eye irritation when the lenses absorb static electricity, as a result I carry a dryer sheet in the glasses case at all times. All in all I give them 3 stars for the value of them. They're affordable, and you get what you pay for.

I bought these to use while at my computer. I've worn them for a few days now while working at the computer and, honestly, it's hard to tell if they're "working" or not. I haven't really had any problems before so it's hard to say.On the other hand, these seem to be a very high quality product. The storage case alone is likely worth the price charged for the glasses. The glasses fit perfectly, they're very comfortable and my wife says they make me look like a rugged Clark Kent! :) That's worth 5-Stars right there.I find no distortion when looking through these glasses at all. They turn everything into a slightly warm yellow that's not unpleasant or distracting. I'll continue to wear them.The glasses are packaged in a very nice, sturdy hard case. They include a micro-fiber cleaning cloth and a handy screwdriver attached to a keychain in case a screw comes loose on the glasses.All in all these are a great deal and with all the choices out there, it seems like this was a great one.Highly recommended if you need blue light-blocking glasses.

I have tried a bunch of blue light blocking glasses recently. I bought both the 8016t and the 2142t models for the DUCO frames. I can honestly say that the 2142t pair would have been my absolute favorite if not for the hideous DUCO stamped on the sides of the frame. It makes wearing them anywhere outside of a private space hard to do without looking tacky. The frames themselves are incredibly solid and well made. They felt the most sturdy of all the brands I have recently tried and I loved the feel of them on my face. I am not sure if the blue light blocking works though. The lenses were pretty transparent so who knows if they are truly blocking those harmful rays? I returned mine after a day because of the stamp on the sides though. It bothered me too much. The 8016t model felt far too lightweight which some might like but worries me as a clumsy person who breaks things easily. They looked really nice though. Oh well. I hope Duco starts making the main frame (2142t) without that stamp. They would get a higher rating if they did that.

I love this Glasses. I needed to study for a board exam and had to sit infront of a computer about 10 hrs per day or more during 4 months. My eyes were hurting so much and after a couple hours everything was blurry, went to my eye doctor who reccomended using glasses with blueshield. I decided to try this ones bc of the price and bc I was a little bit skeptical. But it was the best thing ever, my eyes no longer hurt after studying so much, no blurry vision and I really liked the frame, fitted me perfectly.I am sad bc I lost them and want another pair, but they’re not available with the same frame and I loved the frames. Please make them again!!!

Me mandaron otro modelo totalmente diferente al que aparece en la publicación. En realidad el gasto fue mínimo sin embargo este tipo de cosas no tiene que suceder.

Muy bonitos los lentes, de calidad relativamente buena, pero por el precio es mas que suficiente, el único detalle que en la imagen se muestran con estuche, morralito y paño para limpiarlos, lo cueles no llegaron, pero aun así me gustaron.
