This is a great book, well laid out and easy to follow. I'm not done reading it yet, but I've bought other books of Jason's and am excited to go through this one.

Great information, but delivery is hindered by a severe lack of editing (Kindle)
This book offers very helpful information for getting started with a high availability setup on a LAMP stack. Unfortunately, it is riddled with editing errors that had me wanting to pull my hair out. Too often, I would follow the book to a 'T', only to have errors pop up and things not work. I would then start experimenting and hop over to database server 02 (when the book instructs to be on database server 01), and bam! - it worked... I should note that I bought the Kindle edition, so I'm not sure what the physical copy of the book is like. Other than the frequent editing problems, this book is very helpful.

Regardless of the technology changing so fast, this book is still useful, as it's really well written and explains the whole concept very good. Just substitute service with systemctl commands and a few bits here and there and it's still relevant, it's easy to read and provides you with the full set of code indeed. I got this book in Jason's Black Friday offer at no cost so I'm really grateful for that as well!
