Really nice sisal
I really, really love this sisal. I needed to redo our cat tree because the "kids" destroyed it. I took a LOT of time researching and reading reviews, because my biggest issue with buying in-store, was the smell of it. I can't stand that oily, chemically smell, and my cats don't like it either. This stuff literally had no scent at all. It's great. It's a bit rough, which is fine for the cats, not so fine on my delicate little hands when I was restringing the cat tree, but I prevailed. All and all, I'm thrilled with how my project turned out. It's a great value, even though I did have to buy a second roll of it, because I ran out half way through. The only frustrating part was it does start to unravel (see pic 4) and then you end up with a massive tangle that you have to work your way through. I ended up using a TP roll and just wound it up that way...it wasn't the prettiest, but it worked. A couple of staples here and there and the cat tree looked good as new. So far it seems to be holding up well. The cats are happy, I'm happy, and in a couple of years I'll probably repurchase and do this all again.

Perfect for my cat tower repair project
My cats are good at scratching their tower and it needed a redo to look better. I removed the carpet and replaced it with the sisal rope and it worked great. Good value. Sisal lasts longer than carpet on scratching posts as it provides the perfect thickness that my cats prefer.

Great for cat scratcher/post projects! Safe & durable enough for a 3 pound kitten.
This is a perfect match in diameter and strength to the original sisal rope on the posts that I am replacing, or rather rewrapping on an Armakat tree that has served 2 generations of cats well. However, I now have a new kitten and needed to replace pretty much all the existing tattered rope with a natural fiber rope that was free of both oil & chemicals. She’s a little over the 3 pound mark in body weight, so even the smallest amount of chemicals ingested from grooming could potentially be toxic. I also needed strong & durable to support her scratching, climbing & launching weight as she grows, while at the same time being easy for me to work with. I have weak hands/wrists so would need to wrap, tie, and glue down without much resistance. Surprisingly, this has turned out to be a super easy project once all the old rope and staples were removed. The bare post underneath is nothing more than cardboard like material. All I needed was a staple gun, glue gun, and patience. It was a matter of hot glue, wrap a couple rows, staple the top rows, continue to wrap and glue until you reach the bottom. Staple the bottom couple of rows upon completion and move on to the next tube. Now was the time to be creative and made a small platform post for one of my other cats. For the price, 100 feet is a bargain! 5-stars & cats approved!!! It’s holding up well to aggressive scratching & claw hanging. It's also naturally anti-microbial making it not only safe for your kitty posts, but safe for your body soaps or luffa on a rope!!!

Good job
Actually I like it. It helped me to repair the cat tree. My only complaint is that it is a lot thinner than the sisal rope I have ordered previously. Otherwise it did a good job fixing the scratching posts.

My cats love this rope!
My brother and sister rescue cats absolutely love this sizal rope, they tear it all to heck! And the rope is tough enough that they can keep their nails just the way they like them.
