I’ve had it for several years with no problems. Like the big screen with only having room in n dash for small opening.

This is a terrific unit, blends in well to the dash of my 51 ford truck, only issue is that nowhere does it mention that this unit requires an amp to get the volume up above a whisper....I don't mind having to buy on, it would have been nice to know beforehand.

This stereo has a lot of features, and is designed very well. Its understated, and not flashy, with lots of customization. There are lots of cheaper options, but if you want something from a premium recognized brand, this might be your only option for flip up screens. This unit is easy to use with a bright colorful screen, and the sound is great, with several pre-pop EQ and two savable custom EQs. For the price, I think this unit should come with wireless android auto and apple car play, but wired is okay, im usually charging my phone anyway, so not a big deal.

I bought this for my 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited thinking this would be perfect for it, don’t get me wrong when I say this, I hate it doesn’t support wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, plus I would have to buy a Avic-U280(not available on Amazon)for Navigation, the wired Apple CarPlay still gets me my Waze and music apps, but I realized I can reconfigure the dash setup where I can take out the cubby hole dish and put the climate controls there opening up the radio pocket to accept a double din radio, which now I’m thinking of getting a renewed Avic-8500nex which will give me navigation and wireless capabilities, and may look more appealing towards a factory look

Sound quality is much better than the stock radio. Bluetooth was not a hassle to set up. I still haven't figured out how to set up wireless Apple CarPlay and I will update this review accordingly. Having a wire for USB in the BACK of the unit is stupid. Forces the customer to drill a hole or otherwise modify the dash to thread a large cable. I haven't tackled that issue yet and I'm not sure I want to. The amount of cables on the back of the device is sort of ridiculous but with some common sense, wiring diagrams, and lots of zip ties and soldering, I got it done the first time with no issues.

It's by far one of the best purchase I've made however there is an issue. The safety feature for anti theft isn't safe at all. You can take the plastic trim to activate the anti theft mechanism but you are able to use 3 fingers to apply pressure on where the pins would go and still access the head unit. Although a ridiculous way of doing so, it is possible and doesn't really qualify as anti theft. Overall a great device and I get a ton of compliments on it in my car :).

Love the stereo easy to install and a great value for the money.

I was disappointed to note that the advertisement regarding the pioneer car receiver listed that it was apple carplay compatible, but listed nothing about the fact that one must connect a 2.0 cable to the receiver and a cell phone to make this possible. So from the instructions on the box this information is not present therefore making the advertisement misleading.

Se instaló en VW Beetle 2002 sin problema, totalmente intuitivo para su uso. El Apple CarPlay funciona correctamente.

Awesome and perfect for my application in a 1987 GMC Vandura custom build. Touch screen is extremely responsive, looks perfect and the sound is top tier. Very satisfied, it pays to research before you buy..

I had a previous version of this. The previous model seemed more solidly constructed than this one. That being said, the touch screen is quite responsive and the functions seem to work well. It would have been nice to have a USB outlet in the front of the deck instead of having to run a cable out from the back. I can't speak to the longevity of this system ... but I'm hopeful that it will last as long as my previous unit.

Time to update the 1999 H1. I am tired of out-of-date Nav with the old unit and this one has CarPlay and Android Auto - It was hard to find a single-bay unit and am grateful that I could get this one ... going to get it professionally installed soon by a tech who is familiar not only with various systems but most importantly ... the Hummer.
