Totally Bamboo Expandable Bamboo Trivet

I have an older expandable bamboo trivet that I have been using for about 20 year and wanted another one. This fit the bill perfectly. What are the pluses? 1. Small storage footprint for a trivet that will work with hot serving dishes in a variety of sizes. 2. It is stable and sturdy either in the more compact position or expanded for larger dishes. 3. Serving dishes don't slide around on it like they do on my metal expanding trivet. 4. Well built and slides easily to expand. 5. It's attractive on my counter.

I purchased two Expandable Bamboo Trivets as a gift. My daughter loves them. They are attractive and easily expand for various pots, pans and dishes.

Have given them as gifts. The reason I gave it a 4 star is due to the small silicone dots they place on the bottom for feet have not always arrived with the feet or they have come off. Usually it is one missing or not on. Have had difficulty matching them when missing.

I am wondering if the people who had issues got a defective version or maybe a dishonest seller? I bought mine directly from Amazon and it has been amazing since I bought it in Oct, 2013. It is beautiful. It stores easily since it can be slid into its compact form with no effort. It handles every pot I put onto it, although granted, I have an induction stovetop so never go above medium heat. Also, it's from a renewable resource. Bamboo is beautiful in and of itself, but the fact that it is a renewable resource is yet another plus. I'm not an ecofanatic, but then again, it's just plain wasteful to not be green when it has become so much easier to do so. If a person was still required to drive 10+ miles (hello, wasted gas) to recycle, or if natural renewable resources (such as bamboo) were still SuperPricey(tm), then those of us trying to stay within a sensible budget would have cause to gripe about the difficulties of being ecofriendly. Not so anymore. Most people can recycle from the comfort of their own curb and many green materials are as cheap as the synthetics or non-renewable resources (such as old growth forests). All of this aside, it's simply a beautiful piece. The fact that it is just as functional as it is beautiful, makes this a simple must-have. The fact that it is ridiculously cheap (in price) as well, makes it a no brainer purchase. I would not hesitate in purchasing one again, should I ever need another trivet.

Works and looks great! Our’s sit on a wooden country table and looks like it belongs there. Would highly recommend.

Ca fait plusieurs années que je l'ai maintenant, et il est toujours aussi solide et en parfait état. Très jolie sur la table pour les repas !

Materiale ottimo e resistente. Con un semplice gesto si estende rendendo il piano d'appoggio più lungo. Magari il prezzo un pochino elevato.

Ce dessous de plat est extensible ce qui permet de l'adapter à différents objets. Pour ma part il sert de décoration sous un pot de fleur sur une table de salon. La finition est belle et le rapport qualité/prix intéressant.
