nice cable that works
The Belkin F3U133-16 Pro Series USB 2.0 A/B Cable (16 feet/5 meters) is longer than the normal maximum cable length. At first I was skeptical about this, but I connected it from my laptop to a multifuction copier/printer/fax, and it worked perfectly every time I printed. Allowed me to put the computer on one desk while the printer is on another across the room.Due to electromagnetic induction and data speed requirements, I think the USB standard's normal maximum cable length is roughly about 5-6 feet or so, but this cable seems to defy all the odds. I'm amazed at the quality.

Great Product, Convenient Packaging
Great value for less than $10.00--you can barely get any length USB cable at Walmart/Radio Shack for less than $10.00.\I purchased this to repair an Xbox 360 controller cord (replace to more accurate), so I can't speak to how well this performs as a normal USB cord, I as I cut off the printer connection (small end) to splice into a controller board. This cord works great as an Xbox controller cord (which I think would be a more-strenuous test).Packaging was great: easy-pull tab on back, so no industrial equipment necessary to open package.Quality is fine--seems to be solid. Great product!

Excellent cable for long USB runs
Another great product from Belkin. Don't waste your time and money buying the cheaper cables. At $7.98 you cannot go wrong with this brand name cable. I bought this to connect my CCTV DVR (locked in a closet) to a monitor that supports USB inputs so I could use a wireless mouse to control the DVR. With the transmitter directly in the DVR, it was to far and enclosed to communicate to the mouse. With this cable connected to my monitor, I put the transmitter into the monitor and now my mouse works flawlessly. Using a separate monitor dedicated to CCTV allows me to not have to keep switching windows on my computer monitor to view my cameras. Very happy with this purchase.

Great inexpensive cable
This is a great inexpensive usb cable. I got it for my printer which is up on a shelf about 10' away from my desk.I ordered the 16' so i would have some more length to play with to travel around the floor and not have the cable be tight across the wall. The downside to this length is well it is long, and so when i pulled it out i did not believe it was that long with how tight they had rolled it up, I hooked it up and it was like a phone cord all coiled up, so i took it to my deck and hung it in the sun for the afternoon and it relaxed quickly and seemed like a million feet long. The cable is nice and flexible now, i was hoping from belkin it would have a little more heft and thickness to the cable it self. It is not ultra thin but i would not pull on it to hard for fear of kinking it and damaging the copper leads. The ends are firmly attached and molded in to the cable as you would expect, and the plugs are within perimeters and fit well in all usb ports.Overall i would suggest this to anyone who needed a long cable, but if i cold find for a simular price one of those nice clear ones with the heavy braided jackets i would jump on that one instead.

Nice Price and Product........but too long for printer.
I ordered this cable for my Canon Pro 9000 inkjet printer so I could extend the reach from my laptop. After trying many times to install the driver, I found out that the printer cannot work with a cable longer than 10 ft. Just to prove my research from other message posting that this was true, I hooked up the printer to a shorter USB cable and the driver and printer installed perfectly. Hope this helps others who might have wanted to do the same thing. I will just keep the cable and use it for some other device as the price is so low that it is not worth shipping it back.

works great, less than half local stores' price
If you have a few days, know what you need as far as plug end style, and can factor in the shipping costs (I ordered with another item to get free shipping), this is the best way to go for computer and data cables. With shipping, the savings is small on one cable. Two or more, the savings is significant. The local chain stores, such as Best Buy/Radio Shack/Sears and even Wal Mart, make a killing on overpriced cables. Belkin is good name for a quality product. No problems. I hooked up my new Canon laser 4-in-1 across the room (under edge of carpet) with the cable. Works great.

OK Now...I LIKE Belkin Cables
OK, so, I've got a little 'thing' going with Belkin here, now--just their cables, though...I may not be in love with their wifi devices (oops--I do like their power supplies, also). So, I liked this one--it did well, no issues, hooked it up from a PC to a printer for my GF...never had any issues.BUY YOURS TODAY(where do I get my commission?)But seriously--good cable, no issues, still working after more than 2 yrs.

Not compatible with Fujitsu SnapScan Scanner!!!!
Notice how Amazon recommends purchasing together the Belkin cable and Fujitsu SnapScan???Well I thought I would give myself more flexibility in positioning my scanner by using this longer cable. And since it was recommended by Amazon that others purchase these 2 products together (and Amazon cuts you a deal to boot), why not get both???BIG MISTAKE! I spent hours reading every technical support item that came with my Fujitsu SnapScan to learn why my brand new scanner isn't "recognized" by any of my computers (after loading the drivers). Luckily, it was too late to call technical support (they are only available from 5am to 5pm M-F). So I took my new scanner home and slept on it. When I woke up this morning, I thought let me try one more time: this time I only used the products that came with the Fujitsu SnapScan = and it worked like a breeze!!!LESSONS LEARNED: BELKIN (and other manufacturers' products) MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE !!!So if you are using this product with Fujitsu's SnapScan = definitely pass. And message to AMAZON: Please do a little home work when you advertise bundled products. I expected that your smarty pants technology guys would only suggest purchasing products which work with one another.
