Pool Float
The pool float is nice. The only part you have to inflate is the pillow, which you can do by just blowing it up yourself. You don't need a air pump. The float itself has little Styrofoam polls inside each pocket. so it hold you up in the water. It lets part of your body be in the water. Really comfortable. It is easy to store or carry with you. You just roll it up and tie it. It has a strap to carry it. I would recommend it. I purchased only one to try it out. I will be purchasing more for my pool.

Great alternative to inflatable floats
I bought 2 of these floats before a family houseboating trip on Lake Shasta. They take up more space in the car than a deflated floatie, but there are ties and a handle to make it compact and easy to carry. The floats have an inflatable insert for the pillow, and the rest of the float is made up of foam rods (like really skinny pool noodles) sewn into channels. They are comforable to float on, although you end up more submerged than with some other inflatable floats. (Which was fine with us, it helped us beat the heat.) Since the trip, we have been using the floats in our pool. I can see us using these for a few years, as opposed to fully inflatable floats that get holes in them and have to be repaired or thrown away. You could also use the floats to lie on the beach, but I can't see using them as a yoga mat (as one of the photos on the package shows) - that would be really bumpy and uncomfortable. The only downside I found was with the quality of the stitching. On the first use, the stitching came apart along a seam by the pillow. Once I got the floats home, I noticed that the other one had stitching coming apart along two of the channels. Both are repairable, but I don't like having to fix something so new.

Stitching Breaks Easily
This seemed like the perfect mat to use on a beach and float. What could go wrong? The stitching of course. This is sold by Amazon so I thought the quality would be on par with their brand. I was wrong. It looks like they used the wrong thread for this item and it broke after the first use. Not just in one place... almost everywhere. The plastic tubes inside it all came together. It is unusable. Luckily I used it within the return period and will be returning it. It literally broke after the first use. Each time I sat on it (I am only 145 pounds) I heard thread ripping. So poorly made! Save your money and spend it elsewhere. Use my experience to save you time and money. Good luck. My search for another may begins... may the search be ever in your favor.

Floatation
I have tried it as a beach mat, it works wonders and absorbs bumps and debris under it. I have tried it as a mat to exercise on, it works great. I took it into the lake and as I climbed upon it, it sank with me on it, and then floated to back to the top. I am 210. Product brags 250 can fit on it. Put hub on it, he's 235 and it did the same thing. Next, going to try in this order. 4 year old 30 pounds, works??? then 70 pound 9 year old, works???? then 130 16 year old 6'2, works??? then 40 year old 170, works????then hub again!

Awesome float for adults!
Buy yourself this float! Only the pillow needs to be blown up. The comfort level is a 10! And it's LONG! I'm 5'9" and could stretch out w/ room left over. Easy to get into and lay on. Easy to fall asleep on lol The pillow is just right and so is the feeling of stability under you while floating. Rolls up easily and has a carry strap. THis float is a slam dunk for us. We used it on 4 trips and it still appears brand new! We only used it in a pool.

I love this pool float/yoga mat
The first thing I noticed was the vibrant color of blues in the stripes. The mat/float came rolled up and has ties at the end to hold it in place. This makes it easy to carry with you anywhere. When you put it in the pool the ties to dangle out from the end and get in your way if you are swimming by it. The easiest way to get on is to stand with your back to the middle with the pillow at one end and the ties at the other. Grab the edges and pull down as you hop up on it. Then just lay down and enjoy the motion of the water. The pillow has to be blown up and placed in the pillow pocket at the top end of the float. Once in place, you just close the velcro-fastener. This is my favorite purchase of the season so far. Good price and great float

Best pool float ever!
Best pool float I've ever owned. Love that you dont have to inflate it each time you use it. The only part that inflates is the little head pillow whereas the rest is foam (feels like pool noodle material). Comfortably cradles your body while allowing you to be slightly submerged. Long enough to support your entire body even if you're tall. Love how you can take it right from the water to your lounge chair. Worth every penny!

Not a great purchase
We originally purchased 2 of these. We took one out of the packaging and gave it a try and quickly found out that it does not float on the top of the water. It floats but you are still submerged in the water quite a bit. Fine for a pool maybe but not the lake. We returned the unused one and got a refund. Now after 2 full uses, the pillow came completely separate from the rest of the float and I'm trying to figure out how the heck to salvage it. Not super happy with the quality of this float. It would be great for use on the sand if that is what you are looking for.
