Works as intended. Good seal. No leaks
They have an O-ring seal that prevents leaks between the body and the tubing. They include a removable valve and a good-sealing cap. That said, this type of piercing valve should not be used for permanent repairs. They are primarily for safely removing refrigerant to a recovery system.

WORKED GREAT!
USED ON A CLOSED LOOP REFRIDGERATOR. WORKED GREAT AND WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE NEEDED REPAIRS AND GET MY FRIDGE UP AND GOING AGAIN WITH THIS! HELPED MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ADD A STOP LEAK FREON. DIDN'T NEED 2 BUT THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.

Valves worked as expected.
The valves had some bur I had to clean up with a file. Not sure it was needed but I did it anyway so the fit on the pipe was snug. So far no problems but it works. Just remember the connect does not have a valve. The Allen wrench is used to seal off the connection. When removing hose, just remember to close valve with Allen wrench or you will release all the refrigerant

Work great. Pretty easy to use. I use some emery cloth to clean pipe before I attach them.

Not terrible.
Not a terrible little device for the price, but it doesn't have a needle valve in it it just has the piercing valve and an o-ring on the cap.
