I am sorry but to be honest these won't taste and smell as good as it can be. I tried cooking for 3 days already and it is still not smooth and sweet as good quality would be. It feels hard and it crumbles in the mouth tastelessly instead of being juicy soft and smooth. It is either bad quality or expired. I am throwing these away and will try another brand. I noticed the package states these are from Australia, not India, perhaps the thrue Indian Kala Chana is just better. I wish I knew ahead! Description is misleading stating it is from India when in reality it is just not! Bad seller!

I made the best tasting hummus that I have ever had. These are darker than garbanzo beans and more flavorful! Excellent! They soften nicely overnight with a bit of baking soda in the water... I'm still experimenting with them but delicious! A big thumbs up!

Like the product, but it’s expensive compare to local grocery store,next time I will buy from grocery store, but if they match the prices or less I will order dry grocery from amazon.

I had not eaten chana masala since I left India and made the recipe as soon as I received the chana. Both my husband (dutch) and I enjoyed it very much. Will use and enjoy and then repurchase.
