I don't want delivery trucks driving down my long driveway because it tears up the concrete so I put a delivery box near the top of my driveway. But no matter how many reflectors, cones, and signs I put at the delivery box, delivery guys drive right by it. Well no more. And it's great while pulling out of the driveway, I just hit the hand held remote control, the barricade drops downs, I drive right over it, and then point the remote at it to bring it back up. It works great if you have the same issue I have with delivery trucks.

I will be as pragmatic as possible with this review. I was very excited about my purchase, but when I received it, I was very disappointed, the quality is very poor, everything is loose, I feel like it is going to fall apart, -Part of the paint came peeled or poorly painted, -The key closes halfway, -At the bottom of the device there is a square opening that will surely filter water when it rains. -the rubber that covers the slot of the key cannot be put, the water will enter it and oxidize it very soon. I saw other options at a similar price, I opted for this one because I saw several good reviews, I still don't understand how they got those 5 stars... I cannot recommend this parking lock, I am very disappointed AND I HOPE AMAZON WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PRODUCTS...

Updating review again (22 Oct) Updating review (2 Sep 2020) And I cannot recommend the product or the seller. Lots of back and forth about a replacement unit or even a refund... as long as I give them a better review. Nope. Product works in good weather. Lots of unsecured stuff (loose wires...) "under the hood" -- doesn't inspire confidence. Lots of other alternatives here. Below remains true. Seller sent tracking number for replacement unit. UPS site said “Shipment Ready for UPS” on 24 Aug... and has not changed since. Lots of finger pointing around why we lost a week. Seller remains responsive, which is nice. OK, updating the review again (star rating was wrong) 1. This is a *solid* device, not a toy at all. It does what it claims: it's a great way to *conveniently* keep cars out of a parking spot without introducing health/safety concerns (ex "what if an emergency vehicle needs the spot!!"). 2. Seller was super responsive, answered questions, addressed concerns. Really exceptional that way. 3. RC works well, much better than the bluetooth alternatives I tried. BT requires booting the app, reconnecting to the device, which is slow and unreliable. RC "just works" and from further away, with no pairing or phone app messing around.
