After the success of his score to the critically acclaimed third season of Outlander, Emmy award-winning composer Bear McCreary returns with the sensational score to the internationally acclaimed fourth season of Outlander. McCreary’s scores for Outlander have received critical acclaim. In 2015, he received an Emmy nomination for his work on the first season of Outlander. McCreary, a classically trained pianist, studied composition under the renowned film composer Elmer Bernstein. Since then, McCreary has gone on to work on a number of acclaimed projects including the reimagined series of Battlestar Galactica, the television series Human Target—which earnt McCreary his first Emmy nomination, and AMC’s The Walking Dead. In addition to being an Emmy award-winning composer, McCreary has won two ASCAP Film and Television Music awards and two International Film Music Critics awards.

Bear at his best!
An inspirational soundtrack; of all four seasons this is probably my favourite. Bear McCreary is a master of reusing the well known themes from the first tyhree seasons and by the use of new instruments, subtle changes etc... makes everything fresh and invigorating. Moods, locations, cultures, drama - all are so wonderfully portrayed in season 4. I just love it and play it way more than I should!

one of the best series
Although I am a big fan of Outlander (both books and series ) I was rather deceived by the soundtrack of season 4.The soundtrack of the other three seasons was magnificent by my taste and I listen nery often to one of them.However season 4 seems like a repetition made with boredom and not much enthousiasm .......... Sorry.

Love this! I have got all Four seasons soundtrack cds and have them playing in the background whenever I’m reading, cleaning, static cycling or just relaxing! They are so beautiful and soulful

Cure for insomnia.
I have bought seasons 1-3 soundtracks but season 4 is the best so far. I suffer from insomnia but this soundtrack has lovely soothing tracks.
