This is a heavy duty and spacious crate. It provides a safe place for my pup to sleep, be safe when leave the house, or ride in the car. She enjoys being able to stretch out or munch and snuggle in when she wants. Nicely made and easy to assemble. Portable if traveling and need a spot away from home.

The kennel is made of very sturdy plastic, is easy to dis/assemble and gets the job done right!I had to fly my pup overseas (literally halfway across the globe) and the trip went without a hitch. My precious baby arrived safely at his destination and there were only a few scuffs on the crate from the moments he was in transport. Only things to be aware of is the nuts/screws that come with the kennel are plastic (NOT metal) and as such, may not be airline-compliant (depending on your airline and distance traveled). The plastic feeder that comes with it may also not be the most ideal as it's really just a cheapy half-oval of bowl with a divider in the middle (though I can't see it prevent water from getting into the food during transport). In the end, we didn't want to risk anything going wrong on the long journey so just spent about $10-15 extra to get metal nuts/screws as well as washers (added precaution), and our shipping agent thankfully sent us deeper bowls for the long travel.An unbeatable product for the price and would DEFINITELY recommend. Just something to note that depending on the intended use/distance, additional expenses may be advisable :)

We are so pleased with this kennel. It is sturdy and easy to assemble (I lack mechanical skills). The bleached linen/blue (navy) is really quite attractive. The breeder allowed me to bring the crate ahead of time so that our puppy could get used to it. The pups loved it and all were soon all sleeping in it. When we brought our puppy home it was great to bring her "den" with us, making the trip and the transition to a new home easier. We chose the medium. Our eight week old collie still has lots of room to spare. We know that won't be true in a month or two, but we wanted to have a cozy place for her for now. The price is so reasonable, we think it is well worth buying a second kennel when she gets bigger.Highly recommended!Update: At 4 months old, 24 lbs, 18" tall at the shoulder. our collie pup quit sleeping in her beloved kennel. She is just too big. She does have a long body. Intermediate size ordered. Same great quality. Should have ordered the large however, but for now, we are relishing those extra inches in the laundry room!

After originally purchasing a different crate from a different seller and receiving a inferior crate that didn't represent the pictures they were using to sell the product, I was relieved to receive this crate and see that it accurately represents the product pictures. It has a combination of requirements that a lot of other crates deemed airline safe don't have. Metal screws, not plastic clasps/screws enclosing the top and bottom. Medium size and larger has 4 sides with ventilation. Holes in all four corners along with two on top of the gate for zip ties. Two clearly labeled "lift" spots on each side to pick up crate. The only concern I have is with the top handle, it doesn't look to be very sturdy. Do your research and you will find that a lot of crates make claims but the product doesn't contain all the extras I mentioned above. I doubt you will find any in this price range that offers what this crate offers, and you don't want to go to the airport and have to buy another one there because you skimped on $30 and ordered a different one promising it meet national and international airline standards like the one I originally bought.

I purchased this kennel about a year ago for my elderly kitty. She needed a den-like area to rest in. Due to her arthritis, kitty is unable to clean herself very well. Her sleeping area needs to be cleaned frequently.This kennel is easy to clean. I use a non-toxic, pet safe cleaner to wipe it down when needed.The kennel does not come with a bed. I purchased a bed separately. The bed I bought has a waterproof, washable cover. (There are several good options on Amazon).This kennel is sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble with the hardware provided. Although I don't use the kennel door, it looks like it attaches securely if needed for travel.The best part about this purchase is that kitty loves her cozy den! I rarely see her sleeping anywhere else.We are all very pleased with this kennel!

I decided to get a carrier that was airline-approved (since it bolts together--no snaps--and has ventilation on all sides). Also, for the size (ideal for 25-30 lbs. dogs, or 28" x 20.5" x 21.5"), the price was fab considering it was under $100. It's hard to see from the photo provided, but there are open sides with chrome grates on both sides. It would have been absolutely perfect if there had been a duplicate chrome grate on the back, too...but alas, it has those standard ventilation holes along the back.It is well-made and attractive with the lighter, refined "linen" tone atop the darker, steel blue "dahlia" color is striking. It looks really nice, and will make a nice indoor bed for the puppy to chill out & rest. I plan to get a soft crate/carrier bed since this will be used for crate training the new puppy. (I am looking at the Midwest Quiet Time Pet Bed, Charcoal, 22" x 13" since the charcoal color looks to be a perfect match.)I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that the top handle seems like it wouldn't be strong enough to lift the carrier with a 30 lb. dog in it. I noticed that there are places on the sides (where the carrier bolts together) that read "lift" and I think it would be much safer to lift the carrier that way with pet inside. But, other than that.... So far, so good.
