Perfect for my almost 3 year old nephew who is new to Spider-Man!

I purchased this for our daughter. My husband's favorite Marvel character is Spider-Man, and he's passed that love down to our daughter. She was so excited to have a Spider-Man book to read at bedtime. The story is a general overview of how Peter Parker became Spider-Man, as well as covering some of the villains he encounters. It's a quick read, but entertaining for everyone and you really can't go wrong with a Golden Book.

Cute book. Our first grader struggled on some of the harder words but it’s perfect for a moderate reader.

We purchased this book for our three year old son who is crazy about super heroes. It was an immediate hit! It is now a book that we read at least a couple of times a week in rotation with the other Golden Books about super heroes. Simple text and fun pictures make it an enjoyable, but quick read that is perfect for bedtime. It's a great introduction for young children to the origins of Spiderman and some of the villains in the series. We highly recommend this book as well as the other super hero Golden Books!

My “little” brother is 24 years old but he has a disability. It’s tricky to buy gifts for him but he loves picture books and lately has been interested in Spider Man. So, I decided to see if he would like this - he LOVES it! He spends all day looking at it and even takes it with him to school. The illustrations inside are great, though the book is less of a story and more like an introduction to the character of Spider-Man, but my brother isn’t concerned with the words on the pages. I’m happy that he’s happy.
