Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection

This was a christmas gift that was purchased because our xbox kinect bundle (also a christmas gift) came with disnelyand adventures and the standard kinect adventures. I wanted a game that might be better to play with more people and have something for everyone. This game has something for everyone, which is what we wanted. It is great to play. The person that gets the most out of it is my 4yr old son. Every night he wants to play sports and he cycles from the sports on both discs. The only thing that would make this better would be if they combined the two seasons on one disc so that we wouldn't have to stop to switch discs when we want to play a different sport.Take note, for younger kids- like my son, at times it is difficult for the kinect sensor to pick up their movements with certain sports. The one my son has the most difficulty with is golf, and that's his favorite one to play. Also with the football sometimes when he has to crouch it doesn't catch his movement and it's a struggle to get the sensor to pick up his movements.

Love the sports collection. I traded in season one to buy the set, it was a great value at the time since the collection was cheaper than buying season two alone. As with any game there are improvements that can be made to game play or use of game, but I love the choice this 2 pack give us when we want to play alone or with friends. We are just 2 adults in the house, who invite family and friends, and kids to play. There is something for everyone and the games keep you moving.

Fun, fun, fun. I was actually shocked how accurately this game reads my movements. And it reacts to my movements fast, no lag that I can notice. I let my dad play who is an avid tennis player. And he said it is way more realistic then the Nintendo version that I had him play first. The only thing Nintendo has going for it is that you are holding something in your hand and it is almost like holding a tennis racket. But I've heard it is possible to hold an actual racket with Kinect (I haven't tried it myself)As far as other games, we enjoyed all of the games even the challenge games. Overall this is a really, really good addition to our game library.

My husband and I are retired and were looking for a way to pass the time and get a little excercise at the same time. The xbox 360 and kinnect was our Christmas present to each other and it's been great. My husband had a stroke in 2007 so some of the games he can't do but he loves the bowling game that comes on the Ulltimate Collection. I enjoy it too but I like the other games as well...table tennis....baseball they all give you an interesting workout...more so than I would have thought. Yes, I would recommend this game it has great value for the money and is a terffic introduction into the kinnect and xbox 360 gaming experience for older and younger players.

Some of the sports are great here. Darts, golf, bowling, table tennis, were my favorites. But the Volley ball is horrible. Its confusing the Kinect does not track the movement well at all and if you play against someone one on one, you each have a virtual teammate that moves on their own. It all adds up to a confusing spastic experience that in no way resembles volley ball. And, although I loved the darts, the aiming is often way off, and the target locking feature when you pull back after aiming is hardly ever accurate, and it becomes annoying when it locks on repeatedily where you are not aiming. Some retooling and the darts would be spectacular. Also maybe the option of different play modes, since there are multipled ways to play and score darts.Also Kinect sports 3 should have archery. There was a archery mini game for Wii which was really fun, but to short. Much like the golf game is here. One course of 18 holes is not enough. Why not just make an entire golf game for Kinect?

This is one game that our whole family can play without it being too much of a little kid game. Our almost 4yr old loves this and actually does quite well in most of the sports --especially boxing. He's beaten both me and my wife --and we were actually trying to win. Even when my son and I are playing two players, the tracking is quite good considering the huge height difference (I'm 6'2" and my son is prob a little over 3'). Season 2 lets you switch players much more easily than in Season 1 (both seasons are included in the collection), but it's a little inconvenience we can put up with. Another must-have title for kinect owners.

the kinect sports collection gives you the opportunity to exercise and engage in sports that you like without having to leave your home. it forces you to be active,you can't really get away with doing shortcut moves.i suggest a little warm up before you start playing.other than the challenge and excitement of playing competitive sports with friends, its a really fun way to exercise, good for those who're bored by the usual fitness routine.the soccer game was a little confusing at first, but once you follow the tutorial and u get to understand whats going on in the game its fun.over all i had a blast!

I tried both seasons before buying this. I had played the wii sports and I think this is much better. For starters you don't need the balance board/controller, which makes it feel much more life like. The graphics aren't the greatest, but the point of the game is to not have to great graphics, but fun game play. This dual pack cost less than just one of the games sold individually. Additionally there is a code inside that will allow you to download multiple more sports for free. An unexpected bonus. Overall a good game and not too expensive all things considered.
