This table is literally perfect for toddlers! My twins are 16 months old, and they have some room to grow with this table, but it’s not too big. I think it will work up to age 4 or 5 years old. It’s incredibly sturdy and well made. The color is gorgeous. It’s taken a beating already, but there isn’t a single scratch! The chairs are great, but I did add non-slip backing to the bottoms, to discourage the boys from pushing it around to use as a step stool. It was easy to put together, it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I love that it’s made out of real wood. I’m not sure about the species, but it’s definitely a hardwood. Solid, sturdy, safe.

This is a great table and chair set. Very sturdy. Like some other reviewers said, the screws and holes didn’t line up in a couple of places. Once we started using the drill to screw things together, it went a lot faster. Melissa and Doug have become a favorite seller for our family.
