Weighing where we win
This eufy Smart Scale P1 is a really cool addition to our routine. I got it mainly to track my weight, and it does exactly that — plus more. It keeps up with goals, BMI, and other measurements, and the Bluetooth connection works smoothly with the app. One of the best features is that you can add multiple profiles on the phone, so when different people step on the scale, it tracks each person automatically. You can see your own progress and others’ achievements, or even make it a little competitive, which is fun and motivating. Setup was quick, and the app is very user-friendly. Everything is clear and easy to understand.

Get yourself the P1 model. Incredible first time use and highly affordable
I’ve never bought a smart scale before and I’m fairly inexperienced when it comes to measurement metrics. This device alongside the EufyLife app was incredibly easy to use. The app: Incredibly straight forward and simple. I was able to set up my device in about 30 sec and that surprised me. The Bluetooth picked up my scale and it was ready to use. After my first weigh in, the app showcased my weight and the 14 metric measurements. The app shines the most here as it explains what each metric means and why it’s important. I was able to name my scale and set up Apple health in an instant. Simple and easy. The Eufy P1 smart scale: the device itself feels premium and looks and feels fantastic. For the price, I can’t believe it. Highly affordable. Using it the first time was easy and showed my weight on the bright LED lights and flashed “———“ 3 times to pick up my other 14 measurements. Overall: this is the perfect smart scale to buy for the price. Any new smart scale buyer should pick this P1 model over the C1 in terms of the extra measurements alone. The app was simple to use and set up and couldn’t be happier to start getting into shape!

Easy Setup and keeps me on track.
So I am trying to get back in shape and get my weight down. I was looking for a scale that would integrate with Google Fit and Fitbit that would not break the bank. This scale worked with both platforms and tracks more than just weight. I had an Fitbit Aria before and was not happy with it. The Aria would have 3-5 lbs swings in readings. This scale matches the weight on a second scale I have (and that also matches medical scales I have tried) so the weight readings seem reliable so far. The app and scale paired together easily. It gives a ton of other information as well: BMI, Body Fat%, Muscle Mass, etc. I honestly do not know how true these reading are but I am mainly using them to see trends - and for that, it works perfectly. I can easily tell if my BF and Muscle mass is heading up or down. Mostly, I want to make sure I continue heading in the right direction. Overall, I am very happy with this scale. If there are any changes after using it for a few months I will update this review.

Cool looking scale, app and basic scale need refining, good start
I got this scale, since I am a big fan of Anker products and this is one of their divisions and wanted to test out a smart scale. The scale, itself, turns on most of the time, right away, though sometimes I have to step on and and off of it 3-4 times before it turns on and registers that I have stepped on it. The scale is within a pound of what my regular digital scale shows, so that is probably okay. The app, on the other hand, ONLY works, if you open it, and the device that the app is on opened, is less than 5 feet away. Support told me maybe I didn't have the app open right or I wasn't close enough. I WAS NOT down the street or anything like that. I was in the kitchen next to my bathroom and even in the living room, which is still very close and supposed to be in the range of the scale. But, the only way to sync is less than 5 feet away, in the same room. That disappoints me. Overall, decent scale, less than decent for the app and syncing the stats from the scale, and the price was good because I got a promo discount.

Consistent, easy to use scale & app
Received for Xmas gift, have used daily since, for 8 months. Not a single issue with the scale or app. While Eufy's app doesn't share data with the Samsung Health app or Noom weight/diet app, it does share with Google Fit, and, by downloading an sweet little app called Health Synch from the Google Play store, I was able to synch & share data between Eufy - Google Fit - Samsung Health - Omron Connect (Blood Pressure) - Contour (Glucose) - Kardia (cardiac EKG) devices & apps installed on my Samsung phone. Sweet! Now I can pull up my data from all these apps/devices in Samsung Health or Google Fit to analyze & compare results over time or after, say exercise, meals or fasting, and have it all in one place to show my medical care team as well. The Eufy P1 worked immediately, right out of the box after installing batteries (Duracell brand) , which are still going strong after 8 months of daily use. My routine is to wake up at roughly the same time each morning, and weigh myself, unclothed, after using the toilet, and before showering, eating or drinking. This creates consistency in weight & body composition tracking, so that changes will be the most accurate, and unaffected by clothing/jewelery/food & water intake/sweating or wet hair & skin, etc. BIA (body impedance analysis) accuracy isn't reliable for specific, concrete numbers about body composition, but it is a fairly reliable tool for tracking *changes* in body composition. The Eufy P1 has shown data for me that corresponds to what I feel & see in the mirror - and what my medical team & tests have found, since starting a program of exercise, diet & lifestyle changes last year: increases in muscle & bone density, decreases in visceral fat, overall body fat & weight, etc. I've had no issues getting the scale to turn on or connect to my phone & the Eufy app, and always use it on a level vinyl floor. I typically wake up my phone, open the Eufy app, set the phone on a shelf and step on. The app instantly connects and registers my weight, and then takes 1-3 seconds to complete the other measurements, displaying progress with a circular graph while I stand still. When complete, the home screen displays all measurements taken, and it's easy to toggle to the history screen, where I can scroll thru past entries by day, week or month, download data to print or send in an email to my doctor, or import into a spreadsheet. This screen also shows a comparison sketch of your current body shape/size vs your goal, if you've set up a goal of being a specific weight by a specific date. I have also compared my clothed weight at home on this scale to my weight just 20 minutes later on digital scales at my various doctor's offices, and there's never been been more than .2lbs variance, so I feel the weight on the P1 is very accurate. I'd love to see Eufy make a few tweaks to the app, such as expanding the devices & apps it can share data with easily (like Samsung apps & devices), so that a 3rd party app isn't needed, and making it possible to see history by item, such as only body fat data vs all data. It would also be nice to be able to view the body image comparison by date. Being able to view the image from, say 6 months ago vs today, and then 6 months ago vs goal, instead of only today vs goal, would be a great motivational tool, esp if your data from the dates you select were displayed at the same time. Being able to save & print that would be really helpful, too.

Best scale I've ever owned from a reputable company - Eufy!
There are many highly rated smart scales on Amazon. What helped me decide was by checking out Wirecutter's raving review. Besides this Eufy I own two other digital scales a Utopia wide scale, and a scale made by Thinner. I also once owned a Tanita Fat analyzer scale years ago and it stopped working. My Eufy is precise. If I go weigh myself 10 times back to back it will show exacty the same weight down to the fraction of a pound. Not the case with the other two. I get readings + or - one pound with the others. The Eufy has a nice large bright display too which I like. My Utopia has that too. I also love how it synchs to my smart phone with bluetooth. I have all the information nicely organized for me in the Eufy app, which you can download for free. Even if my phone is not rightnext to me and it is in another room the bluettoth range seems to work just fine. Finally, I love all the data it provides such as body fat %, water %, muscle mass %, bone mass, etc... It is an awesome scale. Please note: If your feet are bigger than size 12 men's size this scale will be too small for you because parts of your feet will stick out. Other than that it is A+++ scale. I am so impressed by this scale I am going to look into their home surveilance cameras. I have some 7+ year old Foscams that have worked amazingly but I think I am ready to look at some newer technology. I hear the Eufy wirless surveilance cameras are Arlo killers.

Pretty accurate weighting and conveniently logs stats to the app.
As minimally expected, the weighting is quick and accurate and sends the stats to your phone via bluetooth, where the history of all weighting is kept and made easy to track progress. I am a little skeptical of body composition (fat%) measurements from any four-electrode smart scales since it only measures the lower body and "estimates" the upper body composition. So I tend to ignore the body fat and muscle percentages and just trust the mirror. I did, though, test weighting myself first thing in the morning after peeing and then measuring again 30mins after drinking a glass of water with electrolytes just to see if it would affect the body fat % and it does, so at least the electrodes are doing some sort of measurement :-) Another little gripe is that scales still show BMI as if it were so important, when it's not at an individual level. Anyone well informed knows that muscle weights more than fat and if you're a very muscular person relatively to your height, you will probably be considered obese based on BMI standards. So I wish they'd just drop the BMI reads and let you input actual body measurements (waist, torso, legs and arms) to show a more meaningful health stat. One last complaint is the app does not sync with Garmin Connect or MyFitnessPal. I know it's the latter two's fault but still, smart phones are supposed to make our lives easier...

Great replacement for my dead sports Tanita scale
This provides a lot of data. Frankly, I'm just interested in weight and the trend of body fat. The other data is interesting, but I don't really pay much attention to it. I say the 'trend of body fat' because I'm not really interested in absolute accuracy. This does trend with weight loss and doesn't freak out and give dumb readings - seems stable. I love how it works so effortlessly with the Eufy app and how the data is shared automatically, after sync, with my fitbit app. I don't have to do anything except have my phone running the Eufy app when I step on the scale. Then I force a sync in the fitbit app and tada, there's the reading. Easy. I have one suggestion for Eufy. Probably some people wouldn't want this, but I'd like to hear a beep in the Eufy app once all the readings are complete. I just have to stand there for a while until I'm pretty sure it's done. Unless you are staring at your phone, you don't know when the body fat reading is done - weight comes quickly. I'm old school, when I got weighed in for a wrestling match we always had to look forward, not down - keeping your weight balanced and inline - not dropping your 10lb head to look down at a scale display. Please? Recommended.
