The media could not be loaded. These work just fine. Don't forget that you have to push the perforated center area out of the sponge yourself if you want to use the hole for soap ro come out. Soap will still come out but takes a but longer to get primed.

I used to have the old ones with the yellow foam sponge and a green scrubbing pad.the scratchpad had a tendency especially when new to scratch a little.Longevity on those was the issue as the yellow foam tended to disintegrate, the green scratchpad delaminate and falls and fuzz off.These ones with the no scratch pad and the blue foam sponge appear to last at least three times as long and do a great job!
