I had an older version of this,purchased at a local grocery store some years back.This one works very well,easy to load mp3s onto and through a cable,very useable even in a car.The speakers are top notch,putting out an audio clarity that you would only hear on much bigger and more expensive speakers,The fact that both the player and speakers are portable is a real plus.If you can find one of these,it beats the daylights out of anything Apple puts out,without the hype and high price.

I should have returned this one speaker metal thing fail to the buttom and the buttom's seen to jam then you have to pop the battries out and hope it doesn't frezze up once more.My fault I should have returned it.The first one I got lasted forever I think 3 years plus.I do try to mess with this one from time to time and I get mad and go back to my other one.The person didn't know he/she was saling a lemon but mine sure was a big fat lemon.The saler shipped it fast.

Bought for the speakers, considered the mp3 player a bonus... turns out the mp3 player is junk... doesn't turn on and off properly. Plan on using an old cell phone as the player, and throwing out the mp3 player. Still not a bad price for the speakers and what I wanted it for.

It comes with outdated software, unless you have an old computer or laptop with windows 98 or xp 2000 it won't work.

I couldn't find model CMA3017D on Amazon, but it looks identical to the model CMA3015C (the difference is only in the look of the speakers).I bought it over a year ago from Heartland America, it was ok in the beginning. The sound wasn't rich, but I figured it's worth what I paid for it - $38. A few months ago I tried turning it on, it wouldn't turn. I checked the cable, batteries - everything was fine. Then I decided to connect it to the computer - the screen came on. Now, here's the part which is interesting: I can't turn it on with the button, but the screen lights up when connected to the PC. Can't play the music, only can add or delete songs with the help of the PC.I contacted the manufacturer, the told me I need to get a new mp3 player. If only my warranty didn't expire, I could've returned it back or gotten a new mp3 from them instead. Otherwise, I'm not spending money for this Brand anymore. I'm not very upset, because I'm happy I didn't have to pay $200-300 for it and then get disappointed. I figured, well $38 is a small money, but I've learned my lesson. But I do know in summary, the profit from all the customers is much more than my $38.My advice is: Don't spend even small money on this kind of product, better pay more but get quality mp3 player. I'll never buy any Craig product again!

Don't waste your time and money.Unless you are some kind of whiz and know how to make another media player/transfer system work with this, it will be a paper weight.We have two that are open and worthless to us.(Buy the zen v plus, my daughter loves hers.)
