Yes. It is messy. It's just the way it is. I just expect it. Keep board at a slight slant to drain into toilet. Everything goes right into the shower upon completion. When board has been washed I take a shower. Totally worth it in my opinion!

how long is the tubing?

I bought this kit - love it. Tubing is five feet long. Weighted piece that goes into the 5 gallon bucket is 15 inches.
