Powerful, convenient, and easy to use
I’ve been using this ONE+ 18V bolt cutter for various cutting tasks, and it has worked very well. It has plenty of power to cut through bolts and metal pieces quickly, without needing much effort. I really like the cordless design—it makes the tool much easier to handle and move around, especially when working in tight or awkward spaces. It feels solid and well built, and the cuts are clean and efficient. It does go through the battery a bit faster on heavier cuts, but that’s expected with a powerful tool like this. Overall, it’s a very reliable and convenient bolt cutter, and I’m extremely happy with its performance.

Well worth the money
Wr have bought 3 of these for work and they are super duty & cut the body seals with ease. We luv them. Cut bolts all day and the blades last over 2 years before we had to replace them. Battery last all work week on one charge.

Totally unnecessary but fun and useful
Bought this for a fencing project where I thought I was gonna have to cut down the height of a 20 foot run of chain-link fence. I have done that before on a 10 foot run and had blisters from cutting the wire over 60 times in an hour. This is slower than manual hand cutters, not quieter, and totally unnecessary. But if you need to save your hands and grip its a lot less work. Its also just fun to play with and cut all sorts of things. Cut through a cheap chain and pad lock like butter. I wouldn't use it on any carbide locks or anything really hard, the jaws aren't that hardened. Works great on cutting big nails, bolts, threaded rod, and other stuff. Faster and less work than a hacksaw or reciprocating saw for small things.

Love it
Do yourself a favor and get you one. Love it (bought this because of shoulder problems and manual cutters were a pain). So easy to use and I have other Ryobi products so I already have batteries.

To me it just looks good.
I wouldn’t buy to again if raccoons came and stole it. By time I got ready to use it it wouldn’t cut lunch meat. Tried using it three times at each shipper each time it would not cut.

Works as expected, though as many have mentions the jaws dont close completely.
Buyer beward that the jaws dont close to the point where they touch and this might be an issue for you if you need to cut very thin wire or your material needs a small tolerance to finally snap away. Tested with 1/4 inch wire and cut just fine, but I can imagine very thin wire link might not work on this design. I might think 1/16 wire might not cut on this unit based on the opening of the jaws at full close. Kind of a shame as it would take minor changes to have the jaws opening either be zero or much closer to zero than this design. In saying all that, there isnt really anything that comes close to this price and ease for what this tool does and I do commend Ryobi for that, but can acknowledge they got so close to a great product only to slightly miss. My only other feedback to Ryobi would be to make the jaws easily replaceable with spares available for purchase (none that I am aware of). Would I buy again? For what I do with them, yes. Easily yes.

The items works as it should. I would have assumed additional packaging would have been applied, however the item must have been handled with care, as the item and all packaging was fully intact upon delivery.
