Twister Fruit Picker

My husband was so pleased to receive this. At first he was concerned that the picker wouldn't hold smaller apples but lo and behold there's an attachment for just that and now he's happily playing Johnny Appleseed!Now I have to get him a cider press!

Good in theory, but can be awkward to use. The need for both hands to coordinate tension while holding onto the fruit, and difficulty in bringing it down to the collection point needs a rethink. I am adding a cleat to anchor the rope in a closed position on my retractable pole.Opening is too large for some citrus, which falls through. Works well for papaya,, takes much strength to keep closed to twist off mango.Best part is not gouging tine marks, or destroying adjacent branches.

I have a full grown Haden mango.I put the picker on a 24 foot painter pole.Allowed me to snag all the high to reach fruit.One of the best tools I’ve ever purchased.

Item would be fine for small fruit, but totally ineffective in trying to get the papayas down from my tree.

Need to hold the pole with one hand and the rope with the other in order to apply the leverage necessary to take down grapefruit from the tree, but once a technique is learned, this device works like a charm. I was skeptical, but am now convinced this is the best solution to harvesting high limb citrus.

I use these to take the pears off my tree and they worked awesome.

I want to harvest very ripe persimmons. These are quite soft and require a gentle grasp and twist to dislodge them from the tree. This product is the perfect answer.
