Joseph Joseph 5-Piece Compact Nesting Kitchen Utensil Set, Nest Utensils

I really like this set. I got one for myself, and liked it so much I purchased a couple more for Christmas presents for a couple different friends who like to cook as much as I do. This is very attractive on the counter, and very functional. I no longer have to rummage around in drawers looking for the slotted spoon. It takes up very little space on the counter, and really comes in handy.Now, a word about the colors. As others have pointed out, the photo shown was tinkered with to make the colors a lot brighter than they are. In my opinion, the actual colors of this set is much more attractive than the photo shown. The actual colors are not dull at all, but a very bright but not too bright rainbow of interesting shades, from a grape purple at the bottom, to an olive green at the top. This is a very attractive set of really nice utensils.

Joseph and Joseph have excellent space saving products. I am very pleased with this set. Great colors, easy clean (dishwasher safe). All of the utensils stack nicely in the ladle. Each utensil is numbered up at the top, so you know what order to put them back in. Only negative is if the ladle is not there, the other utensils lose their magnetic property. Other than that this is a great set, it fits nicely in a drawer, or out in the open on your counter. I would highly recommend this product.

I planned my move-in of my first bachelorette apartment six months in advance, so I bought everything ahead of time within those six months and stored it until I unpacked everything new in the new place. I was so looking forward to open these, because I knew they would brighten up my otherwise all white kitchen. The colors are really dull and I opened it a little too late to return it. They look like those old porous tupperwares in very boring colors that moms had in the 80’s. Pretty functional I guess, but I wanted them to be a nice bright accent to my kitchen. Meh. The spatula, which is advertised as neon green, is a dull red. 80’s Tupperware.

I ordered it right away when I saw it on Amazon. The product arrived quickly and well-boxed.It's undeniably delightful to have such a COOL utensil set in your kitchen, for each utensil sticks to one another and stays put even if you try to lightly shake the set. There's an embedded magnet at the end of each utensil, so when you place each one on top of the other, they "attract and click" into place, similar to how an Apple laptop's power cord works when you plug it to the computer.Colors are not as bright as pictured on Amazon. I've uploaded a picture of it under 'AngryBird'.One glitch I'd like to point out: You may have to rest the other utensils on the counter or in a container when you use the purple ladle since as you can see, the ladle serves as the stand for the set. You also gotta keep in mind whether the surface of where you put the set is clean since again, the ladle is the stand. Ladle's pouch is flat, which feels a bit awkward at first but I got used to it.Comparing to the J.J. Carousel Set (which I also own) Joseph Joseph Elevate Carousel Set, both are attractive in its own way. The Carousel Set has comfortable soft grip and the 'elevate' feature which I still find myself needing the spoon rest because let's face it: liquids drip. The Compact Set, each utensil's handle is about 1 inch longer with slightly wider "body." For example, the Compact Set's ladle has longer handle and bigger pouch. Note that the Compact Set does not come with the flexible turner. The Compact Set would beat the Carousel Set if its design incorporates a spoon rest that serves as the stand as well because Carousel's elevate feature only works with non-liquids. Lastly, the Compact Set is less expensive.

Very nice set of kitchen utensils. Easy to access, I keep them right next to the stove, and the vibrant colors really pop in my kitchen. Out kitchen is on the smaller side, so I was very glad to find these, since they take up almost no counter space. I was slightly concerned that they wouldn't stand up without all the pieces in place, but this has not been a problem at all. There are even little numbers on the handle for the order in which they fit. Very pleased with this product.

Nicely designed, great material, smooth and comfortable to use. The reason for the ONE STAR is the fact that all of the set has to be placed at the same sequence so they can stay firmly standing on their own. The slotted spatula that stands at the forefront has the main magnet at its handle tip so it would hold all of the rest of the set together. While washing the spatula, that magnet fell of and the entire set is now loose and won't stand firmly in its place despite few attempt in fixing that magnet.The entire set is now loose and easily falls off on the table with the slightest touch or movement..

I have not used them yet; however, I have looked at them & handled them to see how i like the feel for them and this is amazing. Each utensil has a magnet on the tip so they won't fall apart & they puple base is a ladle as well which astonished me because from the picture it seem as though it was meant to hold the utensils only. I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars due to the fact that I have not used them yet. I can't wait to use them though.

I’ve now had these for 4 years and they are still in perfect condition and still work amazing. I love how compact the whole set is! I only wish the set was all one color or more neutral- I actually keep them in my pantry because they don’t match anything in my kitchen. Other than that I’ve never had any issues with them!
