Wondfo 50 Ovulation Test Strips and 20 Pregnancy Test Strips Kit - Rapid Test Detection for Home Self-Checking (50 LH + 20 HCG)

Follow-up to my previous review:I've been using the ovulation strips for almost 2 years now--one package lasted that long because I finally figured out my cycle after a few months (I initially bought them for tracking, not to try to get pregnant). Now I know that if I test immediately after my period and in the evening (around 8 pm is perfect), my chances of getting a positive test are really good. I usually only use about 2 strips per month for this reason. There is a very obvious difference between the slightly lighter line and the clear dark line of the positive result.This is the first month we're trying to get pregnant, and because of the accuracy of the ovulation tests it looks like we did it in the first try! I have had very faint positives on the pregnancy strips, which indicate that I'm in very early pregnancy. Most impressive is that I'm only 11 days past ovulation (and about 5-8 days before my next period) and the test is sensitive enough to show some positive movement (I read it after 5 minutes as directed). Fingers crossed that I stay pregnant, but it's a relief to know these tests work. I also didn't have any batch issues. I recently ordered a replacement set of strips, and I've been using one pregnancy test from the old pack and one from the new pack side by side, and they both showed the same results. These strips are amazing and so cheap that you can afford to test really often and really get to know your cycle and your body. And that knowledge is so important.-------------------------------------------------------------Old 3-star review:I have used these strips on and off for about a year. I test right after my period (because I have a long one) and was getting frustrated with constantly negative results. After about 5-6 months of negatives, I thought for sure the strips were faulty, but lo and behold, one day I tested earlier than normal got a very clear positive. No mistaking that the two lines were the exact same shade. I realize that I may just ovulate really really early (because my period lasts so long), and I may not have been testing early enough and also I think I was testing too early in the day. I still have yet to find another positive, but I've been lazy and inconsistent. It has made me realize the strips are probably working properly. It's also possible that I'm not ovulating every month, which is a very real phenomenon. I like these strips because they're cheap, easy, and only take 5 minutes to read. I can afford to use a bunch of them to figure out my cycle. They may not be for everyone, but so far they work for me.

I think it is clear that the price is a bargain, but its also good to know that you are getting a great value and useful product!LH strips:I have used the LH strips for two cycles, the first alongside a Clearblue easy digital test to verify the results and make sure I understood what exactly a positive suit looked like (assuming that the same day the Clearblue was positive so too would be the Wondfo strip). Indeed it was. I found it nice to have enough to take a test twice daily and not break the bank, especially since with these you can see the line get darker on the way to your true surge day. I found that these were also a bit more sensitive than the CB, since it stayed positive looking for abut a day longer than the CB digital gave me a smiley face.The next cycle, I used the last of the strips and CB Digitals, and I also had a Clearblue Fertility monitor given to me by a friend. The color of the strips mirrored the changes indicated by the monitor to some extent, at least the last few days before it gave a peak reading. I can't say that it is a replacement for the monitor, but if you want to start here before plunging $200 on a monitor and supplies (or begging a friend), I think it is worth a try for a few months. In fact, if I hadn't received that gift of the CFM, I would have had strips only.I also got a cheap BBT thermometer on Amazon and did that too. I'm clearly not the patient type, And I very much like to know that I'm optimizing my chances with anything that I do. To be honest, I made the above purchase to get the HPT strips (I still have LH strips from the last purchase I made).HPT strips:When these are negative, they are negative. But be careful, because you need to wait the entire developing time to read the result. I woke up early on DPO 10, like 2am, and I had to go. I was anxious to know if it would be positive, but watching it for maybe a minute it looked negative. So I tossed it in the trash and went back to bed. Figuring that 2 am didn't count as a FMU, I tried again with another line test that was supposedly more sensitive. It also looked initially negative, so I hopped in the shower. I'm not known for long showers so a few minutes later, the second test caught my eye with a faint pink line. Excited I ran to retrieve the 2am Wondfo strip, which had the same faint line! Needless to say, i confirmed at lunch with a Clearblue digital. And since I have 20 strips, I've been using them all the time and watching the line get darker as days pass. Gonna keep praying for a healthy infant!Overall:Accuracy-5 starsPrice-5 starsSpeed of results-maybe I'm just impatient, but 4 stars.This is my second purchase of the strips and I have suggested them to my best friend.
