I’ve been running this Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic in my vehicles and it’s been exactly what I want from a high‑quality motor oil. It flows well on cold starts, gives strong protection under heat and load, and seems to help keep internal parts clean and running smoothly. It’s especially reassuring in heavier duty use where oil temps can climb, and it doesn’t thin out or break down prematurely. The synthetic formula also seems to help with overall engine responsiveness and noise, and it’s held up well through normal mileage intervals without any odd issues. For everyday driving or towing and load‑bearing use, it’s a dependable choice.

Works great in motorcycles
Unopened box arrived in perfect condition. I use this in my motorcycles because it has the correct additives for a wet clutch, and also for my diesel truck. It has worked great, and I would highly recommend it. You can fudge a bit on oil weight depending on the climate you live in. Old motorcycle manuals used to have a chart for what oil weight you should use at what temperature, but most newer motorcycle manuals don't have that. If your bike calls for 10w-40, then 15w-40 is probably fine too unless you're starting it in very cold conditions. (Not legal advise) I got this for $65 for a 3 pack of 1 gallon jugs of 15w-40 in Feb 2026, but it looks like the price fluctuates a lot.

Leaking oil
Great oil... but didn't receive the amount in each gallon bottle it was leaking n I lost about a quart... (2 pints) now I have to purchase that lost because my truck takes exactly 3 gallon...

This product is rated for high pressure in transmissions and clutches running in the engine oil also. It is rated JASO MA which is what is called for in a lot of Japanese bikes and cheaper than the dealer supplied oils that have the same rating.

Has better oil pressure and it stays clean for a long time It’s in a CaseIH Mx 230 farm tractor 8.3 litre communes

This is one of the most popular diesel engine oil’s available.I pretty much use this in my diesel Passat and Benz E320 Bluetec as well as my GM trucks.Rotella T has always proven itself as a leader.
