Updated: So after a couple of months of having this, I will say I have definitely noticed a difference in the car. The growl is still present even with a stock muffler. I don’t burn gas as fast as I used to, and the acceleration is a little easier than when I first wrote my review. The reason I’m leaving this at just 4 stars is the adapter that holds the sensor is starting to split and crack a little. Not sure what is causing this, could be the summer heat, could be something else. I’m not going to dock my review to 3 stars simply because of one small piece being a little messed up. I’m not sure if there’s a replacement I can buy for that one piece, but for the time being it’ll do. Hope this helps!Original: I really wanted the red one, but for this to be $20 less I went ahead and got blue. Not to mention, the package came two days earlier than expected so that was another plus.Very easy to install, the hardest part for me was removing the stock unit off the throttle body. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars for the time being is as the title states I’m testing the waters. There was a noticeable growl when accelerating with my stock muffler.I will say acceleration was a little harder, but that’s given that it was 95 degrees where I live and I’m sure the filter sucking in more hot air than intended is not the best. One thing I do wish is that these came with heat shields like the K&N ones, but nothing a little shopping around would hurt to do. Will provide an update in the next week or so after driving around more a bit.

Replaced because the original air box in my 2001 civic LX was falling apart. Getting noticeably better mileage, slight power bump, and a more aggressive sound when the RPMs go high. Very easy to install, removing the original air box was the hardest part.

Finaly got it looks good but parts are missing in it one bolt one hose clamp and 2 brackig bars are missing not happy about that but will make it work but should got all parts I paid for other than that it’s nice

Good budget mod for ricers. 2001 Civic LX 4D, fits like a glove. Might be running to lean @ low rpm with all the extra airflow. High rpm you'll have a noticable increase in power. Sounds nice too.
