Is as described. Have had for a couple weeks, do not use every day, but still slight wear on the black coloring (over the green). Not too bad, but I feel like even with the coating it will still wear a bit. Not too problematic- hopefully doesn’t wear too much overall thought.

Great little tape measure. My only issues are that the rivets that hold the end hook sometimes snag the piece of whatever you’re measuring leading to inaccurate measurements, but once you realize this it’s easy to avoid. And I would not recommend it for framing layout until you are very accustomed to this tape, as it is very different from the standard tapes most of us are used to (because of the black coloring)

I have a 25' and and wanted this smaller 16' for finish carpentry. I love it, it's smaller/lighter, but just as easy to read. The one catch is it is really hard to read measurements under 1", I wish a tape manufacturer would figure out a way to make those under 1" measurements easier to read. The only con with this tape is that the case is black. I really wish the case had some bright neon on it so it was easier to find. I'm thinking about spray painting it.

I'm a custom wood worker so a good tape is on my hip all day. Great tape except for the fact the blade gets bent and rips far to easily. First time it happend the tape lasted about two weeks so I thought maybe just bad luck. Bought another one and same thing happend in a few weeks. Sucks because the tape has a great feel and is really easy to read. Ill stick to fast cap tapes.

this tape worked pretty well, nice and bright, easy to read and locks nicely. my only issue is that the tape reads slightly different then most its nothing huge just different. also i believe the one i received was defected where the tape stop retracting all the way but i was offered a refund so its ok. my coworkers all have this tape and its still work fine for them.

I have so many tape measurers. I have yellow ones, red ones, silver ones and even some fancy lefty/right reading tape measurers for professional carpenters. For me, I find that 16 feet is the perfect size. Its light, you can carry it around and the rare time I actually need to measure something that's longer than that, I use a Bosch Distance Measurer. So I don't care about some features you might love. I don't care about stand out. I am usually measuring for wood working, things like cabinets, boxes, how long to cut a stud, table saw setup, etc. For me the crazy color scheme makes it so easy I can always read it, even when I am under a sink or other place with poor light. So yes, I always reach for this first and I've sprinkled the rest of the house with the other brands so my family will use those instead of my favorite one.

Slightly expensive for what it offers, but still a great tape measure. Very durable and perfect fit in my hand.
