This is a very sturdy dog toy and works great with large dogs. It’s actually a little big for my dog who is a pit that weighs about 70 lbs as she isn’t able to get it squeak as with somewhat smaller toys. But she loves to play tug of war with it and it has yet to tear. Also great for dogs who like to chew and play aggressively with their toys as it is very durable. Very cute and attractive design.

This has been my pup's favorite since it was bigger than him! We've played a lot of tug and done a lot of snuggling with it. I've washed it several times (washer and dryer regular loads) and it's come out perfect. I'm buying another one after 4 months of rough use. It's starting to show some wear and tear and I don't want the stuffing to get pulled out and swallowed (my pup eats everything). I think the durability is better than average. No dog toy is indestructible, it just depends on the dog.

This monkey has endured two months of tug and chew from my OES pup. Best stuffed toy I've purchased so far! I will be going back to ZippyPaws for sure!

He just loves it - playing all day... but it took only one day to tear it up

This is a great toy for my large German Shorthaired Pointer! She absolutely LOVES her Red Monkey and it is a treat to play tug-of-war with it. All I have to do is say, “Where’s Red Monkey?”, and she runs to find it, then brings it back for a few rounds of tug-of-war. The toy is sturdy and nicely washable.

Another good toy that will quickly fall apart with a bigish dog. The seams won't hold, the stuffing will get all over, but the rope is OK. But this cotten rope also falls apart.

My dog loves these as a tug toy. If you have a dog that likes to rip things apart, the center part would be vulnerable to that but if you’d like a dog that likes to tug and fetch these work great.

If you have an aggressive chewer and tugger, this is not for you. Within 30 minutes of giving this to my 2 border collie pups, they had torn through >2 inches of wrap around the tugging parts. I know this is a tug of war toy but for puppies and chewers, any toy you give them is far game to be chewed. Very disappointed.

Arrived promptly well packaged looks good and as described can’t comment on durability yet has it’s a Christmas gift.

We bought this same monkey a year ago when we first brought our puppy home! It was way too big back then but still our Mini Golden Doodle played with this same monkey for hours and hours, rolling and looping it around herself! So when we saw this same monkey on Amazon we were delighted and had to get her a new one! The old one is still alive and although it’s had surgery(sewing) a few times it’s still in fairly good shape! We hope this new red monkey holds up just as good as the old one and for $32 we and our little doodle enjoy the entertainment and laughs it has brought us all!!

I originally was gifted the panda tug 1.5 years ago. It is my lab's favourite toy by far! He has loved and tugged this thing so much. I wanted to get him another one as it was worn down. Went with the sloth for cost effectiveness. His foster brother destroys toys, and while he's trying to break this one, he wont be able to break the rope. A phenomenal tug toy that doesn't hurt to hold!
