Excellent Quality and Perfect for Tight Spaces
These Knipex angled diagonal cutters are the real deal. The build quality is exactly what you expect from Knipex: solid, precise, and made to last. The angled head is a game changer because it lets you get into tighter spaces where straight cutters just cannot reach. It makes clean cuts with very little effort, and the comfort grip handles make longer jobs much easier on the hands. It pretty much cuts everything you would reasonably throw at it: electrical wire, zip ties, small screws, and even tougher material within reason. Just a heads up: don’t be that person who tries to cut heavy duty steel rods or giant bolts with these. Use a high-leverage cutter designed for that kind of abuse. These are perfect for everyday work, but like any tool, they have their limits. Overall, fantastic pair of cutters. If you’re looking for quality and precision with the bonus of an angled head for tight spots, this is the one to get.

Knipex quality delivers again! Excellent cutters
All the Knipex products I have purchased have always had excellent quality and this cutter was no exception. These cut through wires like a hot knife thru butter. They have a solid grip, and the size is comfortable for frequent use. I replaced some old off-brand cutters with these, and the difference is enormous. I should have gotten these much sooner. Knipex is never cheap, but they are always good quality. Buy once, cry once, they say.

Knipex is awesome! Great cutters.
I am a big fan of Knipex, so was excited to buy these cutters. I was not disappointed as the look and feel are very high quality. It is easy to cut wire/cable/metal with these because of the sharp edges and long handles. Unfortunately, I cut some harder metal and dented the jaws on mine. I hope to be able to sharpen them, but I will be more careful in the future.

Only one problem
This brand is number one for me. The feel is fantastic, and they cut through what other brands won't with less pressure applied. From the time I bought my first pair of linesman from them, it's the only brand I will use. The only problem with them... I lose them on jobs because that's my life. My linesman are a few years old though and the blade is as good as brand new. I am an electrician and they are used 5 to 6 days a week every week.

Knipex is pretty good…
Electrician, 20 years. Yes, I’m a Klein guy. Who isn’t…? Been thinking about grabbing a set of Knipex for a while now (Strippers, Dykes, Lineman’s). I grabbed all three. Haven’t used the Dykes or the Lineman’s yet. I used the Strippers, already wrote a review. I’m short, the strippers are great. Not really a 3-1 tool. You can’t get the grip strength when splicing wires together. With 14awg, it can handle that. 12 is where it shows it’s not strong enough. But that’s fine. Overall 4.5/5. Dykes… They feel great, look great and are comfortable. If they cut anything like the Strippers did, then these will be great as well. The Dykes & Lineman’s are very similar to the Klein models. Kind of look the same, feel the same, etc… so they will be easy to use right out of the box. Price… $$$ They are pricy. The brand itself. But it actually is great quality. Most of the complaints are about Price. I get it. They are expensive. But for me, I love tools. I’ll spend a little extra for something that is worth it. Final… As I said, I have t used the Dykes or Lineman’s yet (just got delivered today). By the end of the week (3/18/23) I’ll edit this with how I feel after the 1st week. So far so good though. Knipex has been making some noise in the electrical field. Split feelings. Klein guys are Klein guys. And that’s fine. They make a great tool. I’m a Klein guy. But I’m leaning towards Knipex lately. The 3 main guys are Red & Blue now. Lineman’s Dykes Strippers. Hope this helps anyone on the fence.
