We have a drainage problem on one side of the house. We had drains created years ago but over the years they’ve silted in. When it rains, which it has done more often than usual this year, we end up with standing water on one corner of the house. Coincidentally we’ve noticed that mosquitoes are a much bigger problem this year as well. Until we can have the drains dug again, we needed a temporary solution to the mosquito problem. A relative suggested these and they were a good price, so I figured we had nothing to lose in ordering them. We’ve been using them for about a month now and the mosquito problem is significantly better.

I love these. I put them in containers of water on the dark corners of my patio and in my birdbaths. By keeping them current I now have very few mosquitos and can go out without dousing myself in repellant. I had multiple swimmers in my birdbath a few days ago. A few minutes after putting in 1/4 of a new pellet they were gone. I'd like to give them 6 stars - except it is almost impossible to remove them from the packaging

I was a little skeptical, but I needed to try something. My 2 year old would be bitten at least 3 times or more in less than 10 minutes being outside. My wife also was getting bitten when working in the garden. I placed buckets approximately every 100 ft along the wooded perimeter and some around the house. Within a day there was a difference. I was amazed. My daughter could be out for long periods of time and no bites. This product is very effective. It could not be any easier to use. I do not know the full life cycle of these tablets. There are many factors of how much rain and sun that can impact how effective this type of product can work. I can say it has been over a month, and they still work and most of the tablets are still intact.

I have a small area of flowers and hostas outside the entry door by my garage. Previously, I could not water these plants without being attacked by mosquitoes. We implemented the 5 gallon bucket system with the water, organic yard waste, waited for larvae to hatch and dropped in the donut. Now, no mosquito attack. (We covered the bucket with fence wire and a brick to keep critters out.) We are more than pleased. We have buckets all over our big yard.Previously our family could not use our pool without copious use of bug spray but now that has improved tremendously and it will get better and better as we continue to control the mosquito larvae.I am a believer. Our birds and squirrels are safe, all the forest animals that move through our property are safe. Wow, this deal works.

I bought these to kill off the mosquito larvae in my 100 gal horse troughs. I didn’t know what to expect though. These cookies break apart in about a day and kind of float in the surface. Unsightly, but the horses don’t care. They are very effective! I tried fish and that was more problem than it was worth when it was time to dump the water and clean/refill. These are great! Definitely a low cost solution to a summer problem.

We're using them. Don't know yet whether they work, but this number of dunks will last us a LONG time if used according to the instructions. If they keep the mosquitoes from breeding, then they are certainly worth the price.
