US MRE Meal Ready to Eat, Army Ration EPA, Assorted Menus, CHILI with BEANS

I prefer either US or UK MREs. The US version is tastes nice, usually prefer the meatballs or pattie versions. Pack arrived and appears to have expiry end 2020. Comes with heat pack ideal for weekend trips. Just need water. Prefer to heat mine in an open saucepan in bag. Self sufficient. UPDATE I have purchased a. Few of these now and would recommend especially the meatball and beef or pork pattie.. The jalapeño beef patty has the benefit of jalepeno cheese spread which is very nice.. A little expensive when compared to standard civi camping rations. but ideal for a self contained 12-24hr trip. You just need to have added water for heat pack activation/drinks.. So I mix and match and have both in my outdoor food supply.. I have had no issues with quality of food as long as packs are undamaged military rations are packed to last!! UPDATE I now have new 'favourite' Menu 6 - Beef Taco - just the right amount of spice and you get soft small tortillas and soft cheese, to complete your meal, also has spicy rice but too sloppy to put tortilla - very nice on a cold day by the river bank or on the beach fishing. The quantity is just right -5 star for convienence
