Q: Features & details states it comes with a 16 volt transformer. Does this come with a transformer and if so which model.

My NuTone did not come with a transformer, but I believe it does come with a transformer now. Amazon , I believe, sells it with a transfomer. CHeck to make sure before you purchase. The transformer sold separately is NuTone C907, 16V, 30VA and sells for $27.99. It's nice piece of equipment and easy to install, if you're handy. The bell has a nice sound.

Q: I want to use this with a ring pro doorbell camera button. ring has told me i need to use a 24vac transformer. will this door chime work at 24 volts?

No, it will not. It requires a 16 volt transformer only.

Q: Will this work with Ring Video Pro?

NuTone does not guarantee compatibility of our product with that of other manufacturers.

Q: can the tubes be changed out to longer tubes?

We do not offer different tubes for this door chime. Changing the tubes, if you can locate them, would change the way the unit sounds. Also, it may require additional support if the tubes are heavy. We would NOT recommend this. Altering the product would void any warranty. Thank you.
