This is an awesome product. Super simple easy to follow setup instructions. Good sound, did not notice any difference between its speaker and my phones ear piece. I was told the voice on the receiving end was very clear and easy to understand, and no tin can sound. I had one small problem with initial setup, contacted customer service whose response time was hours, not days. Faster than you can say 1-2-3, problem solved.Here's what happened, after fully charging the battery, I made 4 or 5 attempts to get connected nothing happened, did not work. So I stopped and reviewed the steps in the setup instructions, watched the videos just to make sure I did not miss any thing, and tried another 2 or 3 times with the same results, nothing. Customer service suggested trying to pair with a different phone, and it worked instantly. The only difference between the two phones was that only one of them had the pairing mode activated. I am still embarrassed by this because one of my favorite sayings is PAY ATTENTION. Avantree delivered fast, and responded even faster than expected. I find this to be a very low cost, high value product offered by a very high quality company. The phrase "you get what you pay for",is not always true, sometimes you get a whole lot more.

Super Nice, actually. Very clear and impressive build quality. I do wish it were louder, though ... but its clarity makes up for its "less than ideal" volume. If you are hearing impaired, or have a very loud car (engine or road noise) then you might need a larger, more expensive unit ... perhaps one that can broadcast over your car's radio. But, for a minimalist, stand-alone, easy to use device that can be moved from car to car without thought or effort, ... this unit has a lot going for it. The beauty of this unit is its sleek design. Everything about the product is well executed - the packaging, the manual, the replaceable battery, etc. NOW ... I eMailed the company (I think it was when I registered the product on their website?) and told them how much I appreciated the quality of the product ... except for the fact that I wished the volume were capable of getting louder. I told them I would sacrifice a bit of "sleekness" in design for a larger speaker. HaHa ... they were already "on it", responding that a slightly larger unit was to be released soon. Well, I've heard such "stories" from other companies, so I wasn't putting too much faith in the reply ... after all, it is an unknown company (to me), so, even though I liked what I had seen thus far, I wasn't expecting to see a newer model any time real soon. Sure enough, a few weeks later, I got an email from them with a coupon to "pre-purchase" their new "CK11" with a slightly larger footprint (speaker!) and a rotary volume know instead of up + down buttons (much more convenient when driving). Compared to another similar-priced unit I sampled and returned, one that seems to be sold under many generic names, the Avantree unit really stands out. I am very picky and not easily impressed - but they have my respect and I am curious to look into their other products now, not just their car blue tooth stuff. Oh ... yes, I am going to try the new CK11 when it comes out ... more volume would be nice "when needed" (but not really needed so far).. I'll keep this quality 10BP as a backup/spare!

Great visor Bluetooth for driving. Paired easily and has good sound. The best part is the replaceable battery. No more having to replace the whole thing when the battery fails to hold charge. So far have used it a couple of times with no issues. Other person on the line said I sounded clear, could not hear the road noise. Will probably buy another one for our other vehicle. Comes with good instructions and everything you need to get started. Also plays music on your phone if your vehicle is not capable. Will check the battery life on our next long road trip. If it works as advertised, it should last he whole 10 hours.Update: Had already bought one for my Honda Civic. My wife liked it so much, says I sound clear and little to no background noise. She can also play her music thru it since her Explorer has no Aux port. Battery holds charge for a long time as well which is why she wanted one. Highly recommend this item. No problems so far.

Five stars from me for value, performance, appearance, clarity of setup instructions, and setup ease.This Bluetooth is slim and sleek, barely noticeable on my visor. It was very easy to pair with my Galaxy S7. And it turns itself off after the phone has not been in proximity for about an hour.When I return to my auto, I simply press and hold the phone button for about four seconds and it instantly pairs again.Online driving directions, etc. from my phone can be heard through the Bluetooth's speaker, which I really like.This is a great product in my opinion. I'm glad I bought it!BOTTOM LINE: Buy it!

speaker is great, noise canceling is pretty much non-existent. On my end everything sounds great. The speaker is very strong. Everybody I have called complains of background noise. Windows are up in the car and the radio is off. Microphone just doesn't cancel background noise. That being said, the people I have called say my volume is apparently better than my Bluetooth earpiece I had been using, so even with the background noise it is an overall positive. The visor clip is a little flopsy on skinny visors, but ok.

My second try at complying with the new law. I sent the first one back because the voice recognition didn't work. Tried this because of the reviews, but I have the same problems. Incoming calls are great, but my husband and I both tried to give it instructions for making a call, and it would never get it right. I kept it because getting the incoming calls was most important to me.

I tried other handsfree kits but this one is great and connects really well with great audio. I turn it on and iff manually and have to hold the button for several seconds which feels longer than it probably is. I've also attached it to a centre headlining plastic console with velcro as the sun visor bracket provided meant i struggled to see the buttons. If you need a handsfree kit this is a good one!

Not a bad hands free for the money but the call answer button vibrates when the car is moving. The blue flashing lights to indicate it is connected to your phone can be a bit off putting whilst driving. I have tried putting it the other way round on the visor to avoid this but pulling it down to answer calls when driving can be off putting when driving so end up not answering calls.Sound quality, not as great a report as other reviews. I was talking to a friend when I was driving on the M1 and he said it sounded like I was being dragged down some stairs as I was talking.It's ok if you have a limited budget and don't need a hands free that often but for everyday use I would look for something better built with better sound quality.

very similar to the device we bought many years ago ; tested it for music streaming ; is fine so I suppose it would play spoken instructions for sat nav . sound is more than acceptable and volume can be increased by turning up phone volume . my wife has sensitive ear generally prefers lower volume . paired ok with a Windows phone and a Sony M4 Aqua ; does not seem to loose pairing like our old model 10B . Must try sat nav voice commands when I get round to it ; which justifies the extra cost of the BP model ; also Bluetooth 4.0 like most modern phones

The unit is very easy to set up with clear instructions and I had no difficulty in pairing both my phone and tablet. The unit is very neat and compact and fits to the sun visor with no trouble. I found the volume more than adequate to hear the satnav instructions even in noisy traffic conditions. An excellent buy! Also, a nice touch was that I received a follow-up email from Avantree customer services with details on how to contact them should any problems occur in the future.- it is obvious that customer satisfaction is high on their priority list.

At last a decent hands free kit that allows the sat nav on the phone to use it as well as the calls. Easy to pair and operate. Simple to charge and love the fact the battery can be removed. Oh the bliss that is. I can carry additional Nokia batteries for long journeys now, and not worry about charging the unit while driving.Only very small gripe, is, I wish the visor connector could have been made so the position of the device can be moved to suit the visor being up or down. As it stands if the visor remains up, the device is upside down.
