Does the job!
“5% tint, so you can’t see inside my windows”I watched some YT videos and found a guy recommending this along with his install step by step instructions. Just finished installing (2-3hrs+). Worked out perfect! I give myself a 8/10 on the install. The only hard part is on the inside of the smaller corner windows. I recommend going slow and using some scissors to make small trim cuts so it’ll fit. The weather stripping can be a be tough to get under if you have extra length on the edges. But all in all, it worked. I might redo some of those smaller corner windows later on. But it’ll do for now. I have a Subaru crosstrek and I used 3 rolls of the 5% for all all 4doors, corner windows, the rear window, and had some extra strips and a few squares left over for “red-dos”.ProTip: def do in a shaded area with little to no wind. Use plenty of soapy water and clean windows before applying. If you have a lot of time, you can use a metallic marker to mark out the lines then cut on the floor (over cardboard) so you don’t have to make the cuts while it’s on the window. Just cut cut on the inside of the lines you mark. Go slow and plan it out.Hope this holds up during the hot summer and when I use the windows!*buying the spatula kit def helps!

If Static Cling Tint Is What You're After, THIS Is The Best - BY FAR!
What a difference between Gila's Static Cling tint and their main competitor! I first bought the Black Magic static cling tint and tinted both of the front-side windows of my XTS. I was NOT happy with how it looks after it's on the glass. It has a purplish hue to it when you're in the car, and it's hazy; your view to the outside is obscured. A query to others who have bought it informed me that those two factors never go away. So I decided to try the Gila tint, and I am so glad that I did.For one thing, it went on Much easier, and faster. I don't know why...it just did. Further, it looks (from inside the car) dramatically clearer, and there is no purple haze (great song...but not what you want in window tint). From the outside of the car, it's considerably darker than the Black Magic product, like limo tint, but from the inside, there is no problem seeing outside. Visibility is not impaired.I must add that if you REALLY want the window tint job you do to turn out the way you wish.....Don't think you can figure it out for yourself. Tinting windows is nothing less than an art form, and those who are really good at it and make their living doing it, have done it hundreds or thousands of times. Take some time, and watch some YouTube videos about window tinting before you try to do it yourself. The time spent watching Pros do it will be well worth it, and with this product you should be able to do it yourself, with an outcome you will be happy with.I just thought I'd take the time to write this review while I'm here, buying another roll of the Gila tint, so I can yank the other product off of my front windows and replace with Gila's Static Cling Tint. I highly recommend it.

Review of the Brightness of 5 Different Alarm Clocks
Review of the Brightness of 5 Different Alarm ClocksExecutive Summary: I like my bedroom pitch black. Every alarm clock is too bright, even the ones I tried. However, with some window tint (this is what I used, but I would suggest even darker tint) Gila JS248 Peel and Cling Super Limo Black 35% VLT Static Cling Glare Control Automotive Window Tint they can be manageable. I did not try any of the actual alarm or radio functions for any of the clocks.I reviewed quite a few alarm clocks on Amazon before deciding to buy the following. The deciding factors were the design of the clock and the reviews in regards to the brightness. If the design appeared cheap I didn't consider it. If there were few to no reviews or if the reviews overwhelming or consistently said the clock was too bright I wouldn't consider it.These clocks were to initially be placed on the night stand. However, they were all so bright I changed course and decided to place them on a ledge 25 feet away from the head of the bed.Geneva 4584E Elgin Electric Alarm Time Clock Geneva 4584E Elgin Electric Alarm Time ClockThe best of all the alarm clocks I tried. It's the only one I kept. Even though it had the largest display of any of the clocks I tried, it was only slightly brighter than the smallest display Sony ICF-C318. I have 2 layers of window tint on it and it's still a tad bright. The only negative is the LED lights used to light up the numbers are directly in the middle of each line composing each digit. As a result, the middle of the line is bright and the edge of the line is dim. At times this makes it difficult to read.GPX, Inc. C353B AM/FM Clock Radio with Dual Alarms and LED Display (Black) GPX, Inc. C353B AM/FM Clock Radio with Dual Alarms and LED Display (Black)The brightest of all the alarm clocks I tried. My wife said "can you imagine placing that right next to your head? It lights up the whole room." Even after 2 layers of tint it was still brighter than all the alarm clocks without tint. Also the size of the display was smaller than the Geneva 4584E Elgin Electric Alarm Time Clock so it was harder to read.Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio Sony ICFC414 Clock RadioThis clock is slightly brighter that the Geneva 4584E Elgin Electric Alarm Time Clock even though the display is smaller. Considering the clock is 25 feet away the display is too small to read.Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White) Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White)Not as bright as the Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio. However, even with 2 layers of window tint it was still too bright to place on the night stand and the display was too small to read from 25 feet away. The white plastic also stood out in a dark room.Sony ICF-C318 Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (Black) Sony ICF-C318 Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (Black)Same as the Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White) except the black plastic did not stand out the way the white did.Gila JS248 Peel and Cling Super Limo Black 35% VLT Static Cling Glare Control Automotive WindowFirst off, I would suggest even darker tint. The only way to have a dim alarm clock is to put tint on it. No one makes a dim alarm clock. They're all too bright. The tint itself is a tad bubbly once you put it on, but it stays on and didn't leave any sticky residue when I took it off.

Cant see through it...
I was happy to see this product, as tint is illegal in my state and removing "real" tint is really a tough job. The install was a breeaze and to my surprise, no issues when I rolled down the windows. Then I went to back out of the garage and realized you I could barely see my side view mirror! Very blurry. I said screw it let me see how bad it is driving, because I wanted this to work but it was terrible. Not safe.

Decent product, but not dark enough for Privacy
If you are looking for a slight tint to give you a little relief from sun, this might work for you. Based on other reviews I purchased the 20% VLT because I was worried that the Limo Black 5% would be too dark to see through. I should have bought the darker one. This doesn't do much for what I wanted, which was privacy. It wasn't hard to apply, but you're going to get bubbles no matter what you do (ie. spray with soapy water, use credit card). It's also not clear to look through, it's a tad blurry. All in all, the product is exactly what it says it is, but don't expect to get a professional look.
