This charger will help with those vehicles that don’t get used much. My problem is the cigarette lighter requires the key to be on in order to take a charge through it. But the battery clamps work.

I could not be happier with this solar powered battery charger! I have it mounted on a Harbor freight ammo box. I use my winch 1-2 times a week. My battery is always fully charged and ready to go!

I was honestly a little worried about trying this, but my vehicle has an unidentified drain and the battery is dead if it sets for about a week. Hooked this up, and 1.5 weeks later the car started right up! I think it was worth the money.The worse thing is since cars have UV block in the windows have to set it outside the car which risks breakage and theft.

These are so good at keeping a charge on low use 12v batteries. I have it on my boat, which is perfect for that. I also used it on my barely used RAM truck and it charged it up in no time. They have not been in the rain so I cannot verify they survive getting repeatedly soaked, but I suspect they will do fine

These type of 12v battery chargers are pretty similar. They utilize a trickle charge (under 2 watts) to keep a battery charged when not in use. They will not revitalize an old battery, and a failing battery will not renew itself. They are best on a healthy battery and work to increase its useful life. They are particularly useful on smaller 12v batteries used in motorcycles, atv, lawn equipment and the like, but work on any 12v battery. What stands out about this unit over similar ones is the customer service. I had a unit fail after 8 months of use. I contacted the company via their email address (found in their manual) and had a response the same day. A new unit was shipped and received within days. A lengthy 12-month warranty period backed with immediate response and care. That is exceptional service.

This doesn't work. It is suppose to have a red light that comes on when the solar panel is receiving good sun light, the the light is suppose to turn to green when you connect it correctly to a battery. I could never get any light to come on, even after sitting for several days in direct sunlight for 9-10 hours a day. I finally put a voltmeter on it while it was in direct sunlight and got....nadda, nothing, zippo, zero. It's Cheapo, crappo so must returno.

I use this on my boat to keep my trolling motor and fish finder battery charged. Easy to clip onto battery nice long cord and the suction cups that come with it let me mount on the side and I can remove when we are done with it.
