YAY....this is something I will use alot
I was looking for a very wide marker to start with but came across this wide acrylic paint "pen." I want to write large text on kraft paper rolls used as a table runner for a baby shower so I can write "oh baby" on it but have the text elegantly cursive. When it arrived, along with the paint, I couldn't wait to try it out and it's exactly what I needed. This will also be GREAT for making larger signs that are hand painted. YAY!

High quality
Was expecting less... this has a nice ball to mix the paint, and a physical valve to control the amount of fluid.

oh jesus yes i love calligraphy holy christ who needs drugs or church, graffiti is god
I filled this marker with whiteboard ink and I practice fat calligraffiti tags on the whiteboard at school and honestly, this marker is better than having a girlfriend. I would marry this marker and ask to be buried with it.

A little difficult to control, but unlike anything else
It's a little hard to control the flow, need enough ink in the foam to fully saturate it or I get streaky lines... but squeeze too much and the ink pools and drips down the whiteboard. But it's the best option for liquid whiteboard ink I've found yet. The liquid ink lets me make darker lines than solvent-based whiteboard markers and for making art on windows & hallway whiteboards the wide tip is quite nice.

Used it for brushing poison on stumps
The 30mm size worked perfect for painting cut stumps with poison to keep invasive shrubs (Buckthorn) from growing back. As others have mentioned it is threaded backwards from the way most things are so it is righty loosey, lefty tighty. Takes some getting used to but I didn't have to refill it that often so it was a minor thing.

slow flowing
The paint does not flow well -- had to press down A LOT to get it to come out. Liquidex preloaded makers flow much better and ultimately ended up using those instead.

the cap prevents the tip from drying and has a good seal where I cannot smell the fumes when cap ...
I bought this to use on oil based dyes for leather working. Works suprisingly well. Dye absorbed really well, the cap prevents the tip from drying and has a good seal where I cannot smell the fumes when cap is closed. I am about to order a few more of these to pour other colors in it. Good product.

Don’t buy, waste of money!
Absolutely useless. I bought these for painting straight lines for a school mural I was working on with my students and these wouldn’t work at all. I bought 3 packs, what a waste of my money. Save your money and just use paint brushes.

This is a great large grog marker with a very clean wide nib. The marker is intended to be refilled with the brand ink or with any other ink/high flow/pouring acrylic paint. I wanted this for my artwork, to make bold big marks and thick lines. It works beautifully for that. Also, the nib glides beautifully on all papers I have tried it on. The marker is cleverly designed. The opening instructions are on the barrel. The screw system is as simple as it gets; I had a bit of trouble opening it, though, due to the plastic being slightly glued on one of the sides, but this was easily fixable. There is an inner cap, with a pump system (a la Posca) to pump the ink/paint out, which also prevents any spilling. It has a small ball inside the barrel to keep the paint/ink liquid and prevent sedimentation. The cap is really safe too. On the downside, the price is high for an empty small marker.
