These Casio G-Shock Watch Band Adapters will allow you to convert your G-Shock from a rubber band to be able to use straps like the HDT Design Z.U.L.U. Nylon Nato Straps for better fit, comfort and durability. The adapters comes in pair of two and the correct strap width to be used is 24mm. You can use a 22mm strap but there will be some play. Remove the standard polyurethane strap, using the removed spring bars, attach the adapter. As you will not be able to see the spring bar hole on one side, it is little tricky to get the spring bar in place. Keep trying by pushing the end of the spring bar with Spring Bar Tools "Y" end. Make sure spring bars are in place by pulling the adapter. Compatible G-SHOCK Models: DW5600 series, DW6900 series, GA100 series, GDF100 series, GL7200 series, GLS5600 series.

So much more comfortable than the standard band.
I really like the durability of G-Shocks but I have always hated the resin bands. I put this adapter on a GA-800 and it looks great! I was concerned in the beginning because of the angle of the adapters but once I put the 24mm NATO strap on it and put it on it felt much better than I thought it was going to. It does not dig into my wrist at all. I'm glad that I bought this and I like that it's made by Casio. I was going to buy a Jays&Kays adapter but as soon as I saw that Casio made their own I gravitated to them. The product comes with 2 16mm spring bars, I did not need these because I just used the spring bars that were in my watch but its cool that it comes with replacements in case yours are broken/lost. It also comes with a spring bar tool. I already had a spring bar tool that was longer so I just used that because of the leverage. If you buy this it comes with everything you need to do the job.My only complaint is that the spring bars are very difficult to put in and difficult to know if they are fully inserted. It took me a couple of times to get it to stay but once it was in I pulled on it and tried to move it around and it stayed. I haven't had any issues since installing the adapters. If you hate the straps G-Shocks come with I highly recommend this adapter. If I buy another G-Shock I will definitely get this again.

Hard to install on G-Shock
Looks great. Functions great. Let me say after an hour of installing, this is very, very difficult to install because the hard rubber or plastic needs to be deformed significantly to install on the watch case. The only way to do this is to push very, very hard on the little steel pins. I had the right tools but that didn't help. Let me repeat: It took an hour. NATO Band Adapter for Casio Watch Using Spring Bar Strap Mount
For the quality of this adapter, it is well made and does the job. I originally did not realize it WILL NOT fit with the non spring bar type watch case using the screws. There is no possible way I can use it with the Mud-Man and some other types in the Pro-Treck series watches that I have.I tried to order the type of adapter that fits with the other type using the screws. Apparently, they will not ship to Canada. I called Casio. They told me this product is not theirs. They can only supply the original watch band for their watches.I gave this adapter five (5) stars because it is a very good adapter. I have a few Casio watches that use the spring bar type mount, and therefore this adapter will fit to them very well. If you search out on YouTube there are some excellent videos about this type of adapter and how to use it with a NATO band. If you have a Casio model that complies to the fit of this adapter it will do the job very well.

Better set aside half a day
Rubbish fitment and production standards. Used proper tools for what felt like an hour and finally was able to seat the pins but not until damaging a literally brand new DW5600 in the process. And had to shave off some of the adapter to do that. Only reason not a 1 star review is that they do actually work for the purpose if you persevere.

Does NOT fit DW6900 out of the box
What a frustrating Piece of junk, an issue of one size fits all, and fits none right. After several Attempts, and just before the point I got so frustrated I was ready to throw them in the trash. I compared the offending adapters to the factory band, I noticed that they where in need of a trim. from the top you will see three "steps" molded in the resin. the last one that rest against the watch body is much thinner the first two. It was this last "step" that I noticed was hitting the watch body between the lugs. It was this interference that prevent the spring bars from seating properly.Since these where "junk" I had nothing to lose by performing a little resin surgery. I carefully trimmed this portion off with a sharp Knife. Only needed 5 stitches, so not to bad....NO Just joking, But be very careful or you may end up needing them. Insert mumbo jumbo legalese here, basically don't be stupid and cut yourself. because Somebody on the internet said you need to cut some resin watch adapter, If your not mature enough to handle a knife and your an adult, well that is not my fault. if your a minor, get a mature adult who knows how to use a knife, unless you are mature beyond your years. again, don't blame me for cutting your finger off.Ok, back to the watch. after carefully trimming both adapters, the spring bars snapped into place, just as they should, and in a time frame that is more reasonable than trying to fight the unmodified part, and risk ruining your Gshock

Not worth the price or effort
These adapters are way too expensive for what you get and how much effort it takes to fit on a G-shock. They're just pieces of rubber that are way too large for any watch. In order to fit them in a G-shock, the sides of the joint need to be sanded down. I've attached a picture that shows where to sand.If these things were a couple of dollars, they might be worth it. Unfortunately, at their cost you might as well spend a little bit more for a jaysandkays adapter. I cannot recommend these adapters for any watch, even if they didn't need to be filed down.

Be patient and use the right tool.
Use the slimmest spring bar tool you have and don't be afraid to jam it in there. The tip of the tool needs to be thin but strong so you can jam it in and fish for the hole.. I put these strap extensions in hot water to soften them up a little. They are built like a tank. G shock quality.

Great but hard to install
Great idea. Installation is hard, and the pins don’t stay in well. I ended up using a strong epoxy to glue them on to the watch body. Highly recommend that approach if the watch is used outdoors
